Elbow joint pain

Hi guys. I have this weird pain feeling at my elbow joint. Not the muscle that usually associated with tennis elbow, but it's directly at the joint. The pain is felt when i stretch my arm straightly out to front, and also when i hit groundstrokes. The pain is kinda like a sharp needle. other than the 2 situations, i dont feel anything with the joint...any of u guys having the same problem?

i suspect this is due to my bad 1hbh technique.

I kinda had this....my coach told me to strengthen my tricep as the elbow relies on this muscle. He said to lie down on a couch, dangle my arms and lift with dumbells.

The guy has a SHARP PAIN when he straightens his elbow and you're telling him to exercise with weights!!!!! Most moronic post I've perhaps ever seen. How do you know he doesn't have an avulsed tendon or even a cracked olecranon, in which case he could do worse damage. See a doctor before Duzza tries to kill you. A sharp pain is not a signal that "it's time to go to the gym."

That sounds painful. If it’s a sharp needle feeling right in the joint, you might want to look into hyperextension or maybe some loose cartilage. Since you mentioned the 1hbh, you could be flicking your wrist too much or locking your elbow at contact.

Maybe try filming your backhand to see if you're hitting it late? Taking a week off to let the inflammation go down usually helps too. Hope it feels better soon.
