Embarrassed as a tennis fan from these posts of Schadenfreude.

Wow, as a Nadal fan to the end, it's despicable how people are trolling/bashing Djokovic's loss.
He's the clearly best player on tour and of course he cannot win everything.

But I've seen it from both sides, when Fed was #1, then Nadal, then Djokovic. Nothing but arguing and
taking pleasure in the suffering/loss of others.

Schadenfreude

I know the internet is "a dark carnival of Humanity's most wretched impulses."

But C'mon we're all tennis fans, how about we show some class. Just a little bit.

Djokovic is my guy. I'm heartbroken at the loss today - and to be honest was arrogant enough to think it would be a walk in the park this tourney - but he played like utter crap.

At the same time, some of the more extremely vocal Nole fans needed to be brought down a notch. All is fair game.

Querrey deserved it. End of story.

There's no need to get so sensitive. This is basic human nature. Nothing new. Djokovic fans have been hitting at Federer for the last few years. They criticize everything he does or says. When Federer loses they'll be hitting back.

When your man loses, either come to this forum with a thick skin, or avoid it for a day or two.

It's totally harmless. If you are in the limelight and fail you fall hard.
That's just the way it is!

:D

Hey man, some posters set themselves up for this kind of stuff. Didn't nolebrec or something say he was gonna go on temporary vacation if novak lost. I need to go dig that up.
It echoes some of the Serena fans prior to her loss to Vinci.
Some of those fanatics have rarely resurfaced. This is a good thing :)

Good riddance if that's the case.

However I think he won't be able to resist his itchy fingers whenever Federer comes onto court.

There's absolutely no shame for Djokovic to lose early for once, and I think the only ones offended are his hard-core fans who live on the coat-tails of his success.

I'm sure some of them were amongst those who were laughing when Nadal had his early exits, or when Federer went out early a couple of years ago.

Back amongst general tennis fans, it's good news for the sport to have a different winner, and it provides the opportunity for the up and coming players to get a bit more attention. The drama of such a solid number one losing early is exciting for sports writers, because it's the kind of shock exit that creates an exciting headline. There is nothing personal about that at all, it's just Novak hasn't been on the receiving end of it very often.

Seriously OP - You are being sarcastic right? - SHEESH !
Embarrassed for Tennis fans have you EVER read this forum before ?
Or do you not notice when other players are slated ?

You are more arrogant than Djokovic - with his opponent played well BS !
I guess the Guy that whooped his lame ass must remain nameless.

Well done Querrey is all I can say - he's done tennis a favour.
All I can say is watch out Djoko fans there will be far more where this has come from.

I think Fed is very safe as the GOAT. I smell a whiff of Scandinavia.

For fellow Djokovic fans who might be hurting let me re-assure you with something.

Whilst any loss in a slam for the top guys hurts, some of them hurt more than others. Do you remember how much the loss against Wawrinka in RG 2015 hurt? Or the one against Nadal in 2013 RG. Djokovic since them defeats has scaled heights very few have seen in our sport.

The defeat to Querrey is bad, however just remember the number of highs.

After the RG SF 2013 loss I didn't eat/sleep properly for almost a week. But after yesterday's defeat to Querrey I'm feeling pretty much normal.

You guys need to put a perspective on this defeat.

Upset that we lost 2 months rent, are we? ;)

I told you not to do it.

It's stupid to be embarrassed by someone else' behaviour.

Actually the Djok fans give the correct example in this, they still have their heads held high.

Also, when he starts pulling **** like this, it makes him doubly hard to root for.

Good clip, even though they could have gone 10:

#7 The Phony Applause for Shots That Don't Really Matter
#8 The Self-Obsession
#9 The Hypochondria
#10 The Jokes at Other People's Expense

I am a fan of the sport of tennis. Djokovic drags down the entire sport with his boring, defense only game. Any Djokovic loss is a victory for the game.

Most fans want to see creative, offensive minded players be successful, not another Murrovic final that looks like groundstroke practice.

Tennis is a zero sum gain, one wins while another one loses.

No, that's an excuse for you to not stand him. Nothing Unusual there. Pluss the uploader is clearly not being serious with some of the stuff in there such as Novak dancing etc.

You haven't watched much of him if you call his game defensive. He is just a well balanced player who does everything great.

Once again, I ask this question: Why is your screen name RF-18, when you a clearly a Djokovic fanboy? It makes no sense.
