Monfils's problem isn't emotional.

He stands two lightyears behind the baseline with those giant muscles of his and retrieves balls like superman, making unbelievable dives and performing breathtaking acrobatics. In the end, he can't run everything down. :(

But at lease we get to see him going head first into a water cooler like in Austrian Open. He's one of my favorite players, i enjoy the energy he brings to the court and watching him chase down every ball, but standing 8 feet behind the base line is so frustrating to watch him do.

I'd say Monfils has some spectacular athleticism which can be big-time entertaining, but his head can run the entire gamut of emotions within a single set. More noticeable to me now than ever.

Blake... I've been done with him for a couple of years now.

A couple of the biggest WYA offenders I can think of today are Jelena Jankovic and Victoria Azarenka. Almost comical how drastically either of them can check out in the middle of a match.

Must be something in the Safin genes. I vote Safin and Safina.

Haas, Gascquet, Blake, are HOF in this category.

Hate to say it but Djokovic

No, because he still wins matches that he should win, although he's getting so erratic.
Soderling. No kidding. He is.

Not at all. He's actually an over-achiever. The most one-dimensional game in the top 10 and he's on the rise still. Pretty damn good if you ask me.
Roddick.....

What?...he's a fighter.

He doesn't have a brain. Unfortunately for him.

Don't know if I'd call him "emotionally hysterical" but I was watching Andy Murray's match against Seppi and he was all over the place emotionally. I'm not convinced displaying your entire gamut of emotions on the court works to anybody's advantage, ESPECIALLY when you're losing. Which is why Djokovic frustrates me so much these days. It CANNOT be a good thing to let the other guy across the net know he's got you badly rattled.

Which Blake are we talking about????,,,,,???

Robert Blake

Safin

Gasquet

In my mind the top 3 of recent years than you have players like

Blake
Haas (although his issues have usually been more physically/health related, his emotions haven't really helped his situation at times)
Almagro

For the Women I would have to just say Russians in general (Zvonareva, Dementieva, Petrova, Safina....the list goes on)
