ESPN won't show murray

They hype up this match, just teasing us, then go to court number 2 and show serena williams beat the crap out of the number 85 in the world. Geez. Show some entertaining tennis. And they show sharapova destroy someone else. Why can't they show the matches people want to see.

john, espn is showing the matches the most people want to see. unfortunately for you, there are other people in the world who have different wants than you. I would also rather watch the Murray match, but complaining about it on here has no effect. ESPN is going to maximize their profits and showing Murray would not do that.

They are going to show Murray after Serena's match, they stated this in the beginning of the show.

but why not show it now? the serena-craybas match is obviously gonna be a show of bad tennis- one of them claims sickness and a hairline fracture, and the other is an unknown with no weapons. the murray-nalbandian match, guessing from the amount of noise coming from center court, is MUCH more entertaining. ESPN is screwing up coverage once again.

I wanted to see it live. I really didn't care to watch it much after I knew Murray lost. oh well. Maybe i should have put this post in the rant raves.

I get a little tired of the complaing about who's playing tennis on ESPN. I myself am happy they are even willing to show tennis. On the other hand I understand some fans of certain players frustration not being able to see their tennis player play on TV. As a courtesty to the board I'll post a few job links. I know many of you are high school, college age or 30 or younger and hope that TV Brodcast Progamming may be of interest as a career. So as a public service I posted a couple jobs at ESPN. Maybe one of you will go to work there and fix tennis on TV for the rest of us.

If your wondering why I don't work at a place like ESPN I myself am a little to far into my own career to make a switch, in other words to old. Good luck job seekers.

I am sorry for crying about it. I was just very frustrated because they would show highlights, and kept teasing me with all the drama. Then by the time they show it, the match is over and I already knew who won. So I didn't really care to see the match anymore.

he is right, this isnt about good quality tennis. its about who gets the most viewers. williams/roddick/agassi draw the ignorant tennis fan in. ppl who dont play the game nor understand how its played.

only real tennis players would like to see someone like murray.

keep in mind alot of pervs like to watch womens tennis, ratings are ratings reguardless.

Steve and Chad are right. Ratings = Dollars even if we don't like it the network is trying to appeal to the masses. The masses if your wondering are generally non-tennis playing sports fans.
