[Essential Tennis] The Journey to Improvement: Student Interview

There's something touched about here that I like and it also was touched upon here of course, but also in a Bollettieri video for the Tennis Channel called "Commitment, Responsibility, Work Ethic". The title is extremely explicit. Trusting the good of the change you're trying to make, committing to it, putting in the reps, be responsible for the outcome of it and embrace the discomfort of the unknown.

Well I'm kinda preaching to the choir here in this forum section.

Thanks for sharing. That was a great interview. The only (slight) issue I might have is that so much is premised on knowing exactly what the perfect technique is and how to do it (even when you cannot yet). "Improving the quality of your misses" and "emotional endurance" are great concepts, but only if you are doing it right, and not just reinforcing bad habits.

I agree, and that's why I believe the additional input of a "real" coach and filming yourself is very important.
