hahaha hilarious picture!

that Germany - Turkey game was one heck of a game last night! Not in case of quality I think, but in case of drama!
I think it could have gona either way...!Both keeper didn't do a good job haha!
The referee did a pretty bad job as well! That Semih of Turkey should have been sent off after getting a yellow card and the next foul near Germany's box! Germany should have been awarded a penalty or it was close, at lest a free kick when Lahm got fouled!!! There ain't no clearer foul then that one!
All in all a great thrilling game and I'm happy that we won!
Hoping for Spain tonight, just cuz I think Germany would win against them but lose to Russia;)!Even tho I think that Russia can suprise rite there!

Hmm but you see... Greece did that 4 years ago, Turkey can't always take everything off us you know so we let the others instead :)

Greece played boring football and at no point were exciting, not even in saying the names, tenmenbehindtheballopolis etc.

Spain has a damn good team, but it's hard to fight against decades of frustration... anyhow, I think the spaniards will prevail against the ruskies

I think the biggest hump has already been passed, that of making it past the Quarters, and against a moster like Italy... Spain has always been capable of being one of the greats, they just had to make that extra step and actually win something.... This is their chance, they've been the best team in this Euro by far, but they have to proove it all the way, it wont matter if they dont win it. Im predicting a comfortable victory, maybe 2-0

I enjoyed when Goran announced his retirement on Centre Court in 2004 and put on a Croatia shirt and said "Now I can watch Croatia beat England" getting a few boos from the crowd. Of course things were different back then

Mustard Spain, if you please. Much more dignified than plebeian yellow. Or that is what Luis Aragonés says, LOL.

A por ellos, oé.

haha I heard the coach didn't want to play in yellow?Well,Villas is out so I don't think it brought luck.

On the other hand 3-0!

Hahah, yeah, the basketball guys too, being world champs and all! Man, we rock! We should begin to play baseball and american football, and all those other obscure sports like them that we don't play here because who the hell does?

Spain all the way, es tut mir Leid. They are playing the best soccer of the championship. And Senna for MVP.

Spain is playing so well, such beautiful passing, striking and well thought out gameplan. The Germans have not been playing anything special. They´re in the final, that´s what counts. But I think Spain has a little confidence ¨team of destiny¨ going for them. Oh, and they´re severely talented.

Fabregas is one of the greatest players to watch, Arsenal is great to watch because of him and Spain is certainly a beautiful team especially when he enters. Hope he starts for the finals.

Not only that.

It is not as flashy as passing or striking, but it is twice as effective. Senna and, to a minor extent, Marchena, are wreaking havoc on the opponent side midfield, destroying any capability of building an attack.

Senna rocks! He recovers hundreds of balls, arms the counterattack efficiently and has a mean long distance shot. MVP. Reminds me a bit of Koeman of old.

As many Spaniards, I've been very skeptic because of -as Diegaa said- "decades of frustration". But I have to say I'm amazed by the way Spain played today. Some parts of the second half were something near football perfection. Such a beautiful game and such a demostration of technical skills.

Of course Germany is a tough rival, very tough, but if Spain plays the way they did it today...

Anyway, vamos!!

Yes, very very effective football, I mean, not a lot of credit given to Luis Aragones (manager), but he really is El Sabio de Hortaleza, he's given so much to the spanish squad, and he's also taken a loooot of **** from the media, etc. This spanish team is a very solid one, and has improved soo much defensively, which was historically the weak part. It has to be now, Spain has to take the title this time, they cant let it get away. If they take it, they can finally think about winning a World Cup REALLISTICALY

If David Villa can't play in the final thats a huge loss. He is thier best goal scorer. I always thought so, not just because of this tourney. His pace would really bother the slower German defenders.

Torres is a sleeping giant... you'll see; Spain played a GREAT match without Villa today, and Torres was big in the first match, even tho he didnt score.....,

you'll see, you'll see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope so, but regardless he is still a huge loss. They don't have many options at striker.

Portugal is out, so our Brothers Espana has got to win!!!

See what . Torres need to score in order for us to see. Right now his performance not up to his level. Doesn't Spain do have others hitman rather than put Torres on the field :(.

Me as a German can say without a doubt that Spain played so far the best! No doubt, they are always dangerous and have very very skilled players!
I just don't get why Fabregas is always on the bench! I mean his season at Arsenal was phenomenal and yesterdays passes were unbelievable, especially the one that lead to the 2:0!
On the other hand they play Germany in the Final now...Germany always comes out big and steps up their game in big games! The thing is that how the Spaniards play will suit Germanys game, just like the Portuguese! It will probably a very close final and I'll be routing for Germany and I'm picking them to win as well!

I think Spain has more than a suitable replacement in Cesc Fabregas.

Spain has a wonderful mix of youth and experience along with finesse and toughness. Senna is the overlooked champ. Really keeps that defense tight, he´s tough in the back and he has a cannon of a foot. Yeah, like a Koeman. He plays like a defending midfielder. Spain has the best goalkeeper in the world along with the best midfield in the history of football. Then you have Villa and Torres. Despite what some say, Villa might come in as a sub. Aragones said he pulled his leg muscle. I think 2 days is enough to recover from that, unless its something more serious than they say. But still, when you have Xabi Alonso and Cesc Fabregas coming from the bench you can´t say Spain is at a disadvantage.
Staring lineup for Sunday;

Marchena, Puyol, Sergio Ramos and Capdevila

Xavi, Iniesta, Silva and Senna

Torres and Fabregas

They have Dani Güiza as a striker and he´s scored 2 goals in the tournament. But they also had Fabregas play striker role very well yesterday. At least until Güiza came in.

I am very well aware of who they have. Spain only have 3 real strikers on thier squad. Aragones was getting bashed by the media for only bringing 3, and leaving out Raul for example. Villa is the most in form by far. Guiza is pretty good but him and Torres have been missin to much before they put one in.Which I really hope doesn't hurt them. Against Germany you need to put away your chances. Just like Portugal, they had many chances and didn't put them away. Including 2 open net chances!!!

Fabregas ? I don't think so. He is a very good player, but I and the coach would never put him at striker, and he didn't play striker yesterday, once Villa was out Spain played with only one striker and 5 mids. He may have wondered into that position but he wasn't playing striker. Against Germany spain would not and should not play Fabregas at Striker, He is a much better middle player anyway, amazing passes.

Have to disagree with that;

Beckham --- Scholes --- Keane --- Giggs

FTW

I have agree with you and disagree with your choice.

I love Spain but for him to say that Spain has the Best midfield in the History of Football? How long has he been watchin football? Thats ridiculous. This isn't even Spain best midfield in thier history and don't even talk about the world.
