I played that guy before when I had just starting back playing and I think the outcome was the same as the score shown there. He's a very solid player.

Hey Edberg, thats interesting cuz Shaolin sent me that draw saying that his friend Geoffrey got into the draw without even having to quallify because there weren't enough entrants to have a qualifying tournament. He said he, or I or anyone could've gotten into the main draw and had a chance at getting a win and 5 pts.

It looks like Kamil was definitely a tough player but there were a couple wild cards that got beat 6-0,6-0 that maybe we could've had a shot at!

That's funny; first time I hear a challenger not having enough players willing to enter the qualifying. I thought there are players willing to pay 3-4 figure numbers just to get WCs for a qualifying in a challenger.

Wow, not enough entrants. That's crazy. I would love an opportunity like that. Yeah, Kamil has a freakin HUGE serve, 120's and he's a lefty which doesn't really bother me as much as it used to. He actually goes to school here but he's from Vancouver.

Rookie
Yes that's true, i think only 3 guys entered the qualifications and 2 of them are from Rimouski. These 3 guys automatically entered the main draw (there were 4 spots available for qualifiers, that's why Fleishman got a bye) and one of them, Michel-Alexandre Rioux, won his first round match.

He's a junior player, ranked about 10th in the juniors his age group, 35th overall (adults and juniors combined in the province of Quebec). He is a decent player, hits pretty hard from both sides and has a good serve for his size but he's definitely not atp level. He got very lucky to play a guy from Argentina because the surface at Rimouski is lightning quick (I can't believe they let professionals play on such bad courts) and the guy couldn't adjust. Still, congrats to him for keeping his nerves and getting an atp ranking.

Nice work from Evans. Good showing for both him and Isner.
