Even if sinner wins ATP finals

He will not end the year in the top 3.

At slams pts accumulated

Djokovic 7200, Alcaraz 3400, Medvedev 1900, Sinner 1100

Masters

Djokovic around 2500, Medvedev over 3000, Alcaraz above 3000 Sinner around 2500

So Djokovic has 10000 pts just from big tournaments. Raz has 6500 pts and Medvedev 5000+. While sinner has less than 4000 pts from big tournaments.

The hype is good because sinner finally is able to beat Djokovic and Medvedev. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Sinner hasn't reached a slam final yet still and is beaten before semis in 3 of the 4 slams. He has to prove it this week but also next year in Melbourne.

How predictable. A Djokovic fan making a thread to tear down a player who just beat Djokovic.

Remember how fragile Djokovic is and that he needs continuous adoration.
No need to tear down alcaraz. Sinner hype is very strong. Just 2 months back he was called the most overrated guy on ttw. There is huge difference.

95% of this garbage needs to go in the Djokovic news thread where it belongs. Mods have needed to enforce this for years.

Yeah, but for some reason, you and your fellow Djokovic fans feel the need to create a new thread about him every day. Like y'all think he reads the TTW forum and will wither away if you don't praise him daily in every possible thread on this forum.

Everyone here gets how good he is but we don't have to go on endlessly about it. That's just the Djokovic fans.

And y'all will never ease up on it.

Possible. Let's see in 2024 ao at the very least. Let's not be too hasty.
Sinner will win Slams. But he would win a hell of a lot more on fast courts. He just doesn't get rewarded the rest of the year for his amazing ball striking.

I wish they mixed up the surface speeds a lot more. I'm not against Nadal being unbeatable on clay. That's his game. But that game should get annihilated (Del Potro style) on hard court.

Sinner is always going to run into a Medvedev or Djokovic the rest of the year. Guys that can lock down the court, but also hit winners. He's always going to have trouble with this type of player on slower surfaces.

He wasn’t as good in the first half of the year as he is now. He’s a better hard courter than Medvedev now. Sinner is 44-8 on hard court, 85% win rate, that’s amazing

It could be a break out win for him ... providing the additional confidence needed when he comes up against them in majors. They will be more concerned over meeting him going forward.

Sinner is a far more gifted offensive player with much better power and pace generation than Medvedev. Medvedev is not good on slow surfaces.

Right. But meddy has to beat him on fast surface at least. 2 losses in a row is damning for him. Out of sudden all players are dropping like flies in front of him. I think rune will too.

The overwhelming majority of posts bashing young players comes from Djokovic haters and/or Federer and Nadal fans, who seek to discredit Novak's competition

As for the OP, this is yet another post from him that's directly or indirectly critical of Djokovic. It would be like someone named "vasishtha-fedfan" created a thread bashing Hewitt and Roddick

Almost every Djokovic fan I've seen praised Jannik's performance

It's pretty obvious.

He’s gonna be surprised his daylights out when Sinner wins a slam next year and great chance of beating Alcaraz into the ground

I hope sinner wins a slam next year. He’s pretty good on all 3 surfaces. Hopefully the final 4 in Australia is Nole/sinner/Carlos/med

Carlos has been a total loser kind of guy since he lost to Medvedev in USopen. He has to show more fire instead of playing meek. He is going Rafa way in pressers.

It’s possible as he’s had his number the last two times.
Doesn’t mean med can’t take #2 ranking here by Sunday lol. Sinner can’t move up.
Either way, Medvedev is yet to defend a title. Remember how Medvedev won 4 titles or so at the beginning of 2023? Yeah I’m sure Sinner will have his dinner when they play each other in those tournaments

Sinner has yet to defend a title….
Also med’s probably the smartest player on tour. I wouldn’t be surprised if he knocks sinner down here if they meet Saturday or Sunday.

Ah my bad. The last 250 of the year where no one plays bc the top guys are in Turin.
Point is, Sinner has defended one. Medvedev is going to lose a lot of points after Miami/IW. I don’t see him defending any of those points, Sinner will just keep beating him into the ground if they meet in semis/finals

Indian wells I’d say sure. Miami - tbd.
Just bc he hasn’t defended a title doesn’t mean he can’t. Or won’t win other titles.
Meds been atp top 5 player consistently since 2019. You act like he’s trash. Lol

And yes. Med is getting better still. He won a title on clay and made QFs in Monte Carlo. So….
Sinner is 59-14 this year, Medvedev at age 27 has a lower win percentage than Sinner and Sinner is getting better week after week
