Everyone with arm problems should try this racquet

The Prince Tour 98 is amazing. I've tried several racquets now on my quest to find the best arm friendly stick - Prince Tour 100, Textreme 100T, Volkl Organix V1 Pro, Boris Becker London, Yonex Xi 98, Yonex Ai 100, Yonex VCore F97 - and this is the winner by far.

Good level of spin, and excellent control and power for an arm friendly racquet. The sweetspot is huge. Even my worst mishits still find their way over the net. My elbow was particularly sore tonight so I was interested to see how it would cope with a good bashing with the Tour 98. I spent over two hours of hard hitting and my elbow actually feels better now than before I started. I felt no vibrations at all. It is so good, I might still use it even if I didn't have golfer's elbow.

My only negative is the paint job. It's terrible.

Prince Tour 98 are on sale for $69. At this price you can recovery your money on E Bay if you don't like it.

PS Why does e.b.a.y get censored out on this board?

Power, control and touch were all better with Tour 98. Spin was about the same. The Tour 100 felt like it was made out of rubber. I could actually feel the end of the racquet wobbling back and forth! At only 19mm thick I'm not surprised. The Tour 100 is a very attractive racquet though I'll give it that.

Never tried the Tour 98 Pro.

I enjoy playing both of my T100 (16x18) and T98. Their modded specs are 12.5oz and 10 pts HL. Both play easy on my TE-recovering elbow because of the unique dampened feel from the ports. The T100 feels a little softer (in a good way) because of its flex. Because of my strong SW/Western grip, hitting the sweetspot seems easier with the T100 and the feel upon contact has zero vibration. Topspin is good with both but just a little easier with the T100. I do get more spin on kick and twist serves with the T100. Power and placement accuracy are a little better with the T98, as well as touch and volley. For now, I'm going with T98 for doubles and T100 for singles.

Stretchy Man is right on about the T98 terrible matted PJ, same for T95 btw. If it were 90% black than it would look cool but so much matted yellow makes it look like a cheap plastic toy. I actually thought about returning it until I played it - I can deal with the trade-off. The glossy PJ on the T100 is beautiful.

I thought about trying the Tour 98 Pro but, without the ports, I just think it'll play similarly to most 98s with comparable specs. Also, with a 18x20 string pattern, I'd rather not put in more thought and effort to generate my normal level of topspin, like I had to with the T95.
