Everything you need to know about Lacoste Sport!!!

Many of you are wondering where and how to get the Lacoste polos that Andy Roddick wears. Some of you have searched you local stores such as nordstrom, neiman marcus, etc...But found out they only carry cotton items. The reason is because the polos the pros wear arent just normal lacoste polos but are part of the "Lacoste Sport" line. The only place you can find this line is in official Lacoste boutiques and outlets, you may locate a store near you through their website. However results may vary because the Sport line hasnt officially been released by Lacoste so boutiques only carry small samples of the line, please dont be discouraged if you dont find anything.

Since this topic has been discussed numerous times i decided to make a thread dedicated to Lacoste apparel.

Although they shouldnt, prices vary from store to store:
Polyester Polos: vary from $85-$95
Caps: run around $30-$45
Polyester Shorts: $70+
Socks: $12 for one pair
Headbands: $35
Wristbands(very rare): $4.99
Track jackets: 90$-165$

Those are prices based off my experiences, feel free to add any input on what you paid. Lacoste Outlets have major discounts but sales vary everywhere.

Pros Sponsored:
MEN
Arnaud Clement
Andy Roddick
Fabrice Santoro
Richard Gasquet
Sebastien Grosjean
Michael Llodra

WOMEN
Tatiana Golovin
Nathalie Dechy

Here is a sample of my collection:

Bay area as in Florida? I live in Tampa, i go to Orlando Premium Outlets, or they have a boutique in Mall at Millenia in Orlando as well. My dad lives in NY and theres boutiques....well everywhere.

- I got it from different places, mostly at retail, outlets dont normally sell the Polyester polos, however they have normal pique cotton polos for only $50 (which i have 5 of). They have Lacoste sport track jackets, and track pants sometimes.

it's weird how the logo on your shirt is on the left side but the logo on your short is on the right side. I thought they would be on the same side.

Oh and if you guys havent already guessed the Logo is alot larger in the sport line than their normal stuff.

Wow that's a lot of Lacoste clothing!

Personally, I like the white shirt the best, I think thewhite color is more original. And it doesn't attract heat ;)

Anyway, I've got original Lacoste polos, but from the sports line, I never seem to find thehite ones, I find like blue ones with stripes down the middle and stuff like that, and I'm not a big fan of stripes.

Here in my area there are a lot of Lacoste boutiques close by, so I'm able to check daily if they've got any sales or anything ;)

for those that live in OR Washington Square nordstroms has the lacoste sport polo that roddick wore during the awards ceremony at U.S. Open. its the red/black/white striped shirt but has the extra large lacoste logo on the shirt and "lacoste" printed out on the sleeve and no tapered sleeves. Just an FYI.......$85 though...yikes....also cotton not polyester. Never seen this style of shirt by lacoste though.

Nike and Lacoste?? Why? They are at the opposite spectrum of the market... (low-end vs high-end). The only brand that occupies the same segment as Lacoste is Australian. Nike is all about mass-market, average design and mostly poor quality.

Poor quality? I always thought their tennis stuff was some of the more higher quality stuff out there and that their designs were more interesting than most

anyone in UK found the polo roddick wore at wimbledon? cant seem to find it although them white zips are always in the store for £65 i want it but to expensive even though i already got it in black and blue

Nike stuff is awesome and great quality and way better designs....

whats the fuss about crocodile lacoste? just go and buy a $5 polo shirt, image a crocodile on your computer, print it out and stick it on the shirt and you have lacoste..... boring plain designs that are just plain ordinary looking polo's..... sergio tacchini is way better.

Is normal that the cocodrile is bigger in the lacoste sports polos than the normal lacoste without zip?

Just found Lacoste Sport polos in the Chicago area; there's a boutique at the Woodfield mall in Schaumburg that has them in navy, white, royal blue (very sharp; I ended up buying this one), and white w/stripes. Sorry, no grey or black, and they only had the zip-front style. Also, the white one had a contrasting zipper (navy in color) which was interesting. The blue shirts had white contrasting zippers. They also carry the shorts, hats, warm-ups, and anything else you would want. Yes, these are the polyester "Roddick" shirts - $85 + tax.

Thought I would share this with anyone living within driving distance of the Chicago 'burbs.

Nice, too bad they don't make roddicks style for girls. I'd love to have a hat like his. Well I bought one on E bay that looked exactly like his, found out when i got it, it was a load of croc..no pun intended. Never did get to return it because he lived in UK, 50 bucks. errrr!!

Moral of the story, don't buy lacoste on e bay.

Sweet. I go to the one in Old Orchard. It's a cool store. I like Woodfield though, but I haven't been in a while.

What is the build quality compared to Nike and Adidas. Also do they have mesh in the back or under the arm pits? The shirt I did get to see was $75 and nothing too special about it besides I thought the material was alittle thicker then Nike line. This may be a good thing because the shirt will last longer, but out on a hot day in the sun, not sure this is the shirt of choice. Again maybe I saw the winter line. There line in general is pretty limited.
