Wawrinka for a short spell made the Big 3 Era more interesting. Every era, outside of its dominant players. should have 2 or 3 Wawrinkas who seriously challenge the top guys and actually beat them in Slams from time to time.
Murray, Del Potro and Stanimal pushed the elite pretty good at times. Murray was great in Masters and sprung a few upsets on the big 3 in the Slams. Del Potro was a tough outing, pushing the likes of Djoker and Nadal hard in a few Slam meetings. Stan matched up best against Djokovic in the Slams.

Another interesting stat from 2013-2019

Djokovic dropshot attempts in Grand Slams against entire tour except Stan Wawrinka between 2013-2019: 42%
Djokovic dropshot attempts in Grand Slams against Stan Wawrinka between 2013-2019: 81%

This is the one and only black spot in Djokovic's otherwise classy resume.

Fedal did not lose to a single non ATG player repeatedly at majors in their prime.

If you had to be honest would you rather for Novak to meet Wawrinka or Federer in 2021 AO Final,

Tough question. Both are tough challenges but Roger cannot slug it out for 5 sets at age 39. I personally like Roger a little more than Stan.

So, I would prefer Roger as an opponent for those 2 reasons.

Of course it's not like anybody else made the Big 3 a bit more interesting before Stan decided to get his act together.;)

Novak Djokovic just can’t handle the Stanimal. Major, undeniable flaw in his career.

You mean Federer.

Hardly. He's retired in 13 matches in his career, including six slams. There's a significant "black spot."

His achievements are despite the retirements.

He had gluten allergies and also those occurred when he was before 23.

Have we all not made mistakes ? If you missed attending school because you are not well, it is a black mark in your career ?

Better stat:

Since 2014, Novak is 8-1 against Fedal at slams. The only loss being at FO to Nadal. In the same period he is 2-3 against Stan with the two wins being 5 setters.
