Alcaraz is rapidly improving, nothing would shock me anymore. I still rate Medly above him (on HC only, of course, grass is a question mark), but would love to see the match.

I feel Medvedev has the tools to be frustrating for Carlito (ball machine with crazy shot tolerance and a big serve), but also feel Alcaraz is the better player if he’s at his best. Good matchup methinks.

Medvedev is pretty elite at chasing down the drop shot usually, his anticipation is great and he seems to get there with enough time to rip a cross court shot more often than not — but if anybody can use that tactic to expose his court position, I agree it would be Carlito.
