Ezone 100 2022 Ultra Cable

Hi,

I'm looking for someone who use or used Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable in Yonex EZONE 100 2022.
I recently bought ezone with that string and I find out that this setup hasn't power which every tester of that racquet praise.

Ultra cable is a low powered string that produces crazy spin. You have to swing hard to reap the rewards. To get more power you can string lower (next time) and/or go up in gauge size. Maybe 1.20mm instead of the 1.23mm ultra cable. Perhaps try syn gut for comparison. Syn gut is a great all around string, but doesn't last as long as poly on average (unless the poly tension just drops like a stone and you can't control the ball anymore).

Had UC in ezone 98. The launch angle was too high for me.

I don't find Ultra Cable to be particularly low powered compared to other polys I've used. I'd say it's about average. Tension and how it's strung will make a big difference in the "power" output thought. Syn gut can become low powered if strung to high also.

I string most polys in the mid 40s to low 50s depending on the particular setup. I'm currently using Ultra Cable at 45lbs.

Unless you have trouble with strings breaking quickly I would suggest using a synthetic gut or multi string in the low to mid 50s and see how that works for you.

I've been using UC on both my Ezone 100 for the past few months.
I was previously a RPM Rough user, for quite some time.
UC is less powerfull (but not by much), but more comfortable and has quite a bit more spin.
I think it goes well with the Ezone, if you can get used to it, I am a heavy hitter baseliner, so increasing power on my shots was not a real problem.
I string it @ 50lbs with 15% pre-stretch.
Love the string so much that it would be more likely to change the racket than the UC.

Did You try solinco hyper go?

I have not, it was on my list though, and still want to try it.
After RPMR I have tried Tecnifibre 4S and UC only, liked UC so much that I stoped looking.
how do you compare UC and 4S? I use 4s
quite a lot at 60/60# & 70/40# and hit very hard with heavy spin. 4s playability decreases quite fast in terms of spin and control(70/40# setting is better). I noticed 4s has poor snap back though.
