He's sitting right now in Queens with his arm sleeve up and a lot of kinesio tape on his shoulder. Maybe with rest he can get well and then hot on serve at Wimby. Meddy clicking on serve would be a huge threat as he likes grass.
None of th top seeds will want to play him. All serves are more effective on grass, but FAA has seem to get an enormous boost. Imagine this guys serve at peak levels. His return ias already good on other surfaces and will improve on grass as well.
That serve/return combo will win him at least two Wimbledons as long as he’s healthy and focused.
Has anyone won a slam without having won a grand slam match before the tournament started? One of the 17 year old winners from the 1980's would seem most likely: Becker, Chang or Wilander.

Yes, but FAA is yet to win a match at any grand slam tournament. I don't know if any player has won a grand slam tournament who had not previously won a match at any grand slam tournament....with the obvious exception of the player who won the first grand slam tournament ever played. Anyone know if Becker/Chang/Wilander had previously won grand slam matches before winning their first slam?
