Facing Nadal in the French Open final

Is there a tougher challenge in the history of sports ?

I can come up with a few exemples of teams and players who had an air of invincibility for sometime, but I don't recall anything that comes close to what Nadal has achieved in this particular match : The Roland Garros Final !

If someone can beat him there, he will be remembred forever.

Probably. Won 12/12 finals and was never even pushed to five sets in any of them. Only Puerta came even close by having setpoint in the fourth set in 2005 and that was in a doped state against Nadal in his first slam final.

Absolutely ridiculously dominant.

Yes I agree it’s the toughest challenge in tennis and sport in general. It really is the ultimate test. I expect it to be the same case again. Rafa will most likely get his 13th slam in June.

Djoko and Thiem are only players that can challenge him and have a chance. However, it’s incredible how dominant nadal still is there, ever since 2005.
