Fair Price for grommet and bumper set?

Hi.

I own two Pro Staff 6.0 95 racquets that are essentially new. This past week, someone offered to sell me some bumper/grommet sets, and I'm wondering (a) how long grommets last; (b) whether I should stock up now; and (c) what a fair price would be.

a) depends on how many times you string and how many times you scrape your racket across the ground

b) if you can't live without that racket, then yes. After the racket is discontinued the price of the kit goes up. Then eventually it goes away. Gauge your desire to keep this racquet accordingly

c) When they are new you can get them from a retailer for about $10. After, for instance, Wilson stops making/selling them, the price will obviously go up as Demand increases and Supply decreases, making the fair price a little hard to gauge. I've seen some in that very situation go for as much as $55.

You can get the b/g set for your PS6.0 95 for $5/ea.

TW has quite an extensive b/g inventory and you can get them for 5 bucks. Another place where they seem to stock EVERY b/g ever made is a t s s p o r t s . com
