Fake Asian BLX 90? HELP

The ABLX90 is definitely more flexible than the AK90. It feels closer to a wooden racket compared to the AK90 and for some reason I think it has a smaller sweetspot. It is soft feeling racket. That's just my opinion.
Wow, that must be pretty flexible then because I find the AK90 to be more flexible than the US K90.

I just bought an asian N90 by accident. I went to buy 2 n90s thinking they were both US models but one turned out to be an asian.

Anyone have any experience with the Ncode version? How would it compare to the other asians? Or the US models (Kfactor, BLX)?
The AN90 is just a lighter version of the US N90 and share similar characteristics just like the AK 90 and US K90 do. The AN90 swings a hair heavier than the AK90 and has a more solid feeling hoop with a bit more pop off the stringbed. It has a bit more control due to the tighter string pattern in the middle but doesn't feel as crisp but more muted. I also find it serves a bit bigger but doesn't volley as well. That's about it as the AN90 is very similar to the AK90.

Hey BP,

My frames are precisely matched as pertains to specs (static wt, balance, SW) and yet I have the same perception. The ABLX 90 is the most flexible feeling of the lot (ie AN90, AK90, ABLX90) I would also agree it is a bit less powerful, with a smaller sweetspot. :)

Best,

BHBH

Hi BHBH,

Actually that doesn't really surprise me since I find the US BLX90 to feel more flexible than the US K90. And as I mentioned above, the Asian versions are just lighter versions of their US version counterparts, and as such, share all of their other characteristics. :)

then i must b nuts, coz i think the AN90 is my fave,n still my main stick,
didnt like the AK90,n i demoed the ABLX90 enuf to know its as sweet as
the AN90 if not better, just my two bits..

I think I have the answer for you. I was contacted by the same seller too. He provided me with the same photos so I did some research. I believe the racquet is fake.

The first bit of proof is the placement of the paintjob in comparison to the grommets. Check out where the "Wilson" in gold is on my US BLX90 in comparison to one in the photos provided (it's WAY off):

I then went one step further and emailed a very reputable poster (BounceHitBounceHit) as he has some genuine Asian BLX90's and he confirmed that his matched my US ones and NOT the ones sent to you of the Asian BLX being offered for sale.

So it's fake. The seller was very nice with me too and he may not even know his racquet is fake.

Hope this helps.

Can i use this method to check an asian blx 95 also?

It is obviously fake from 1000 miles away.

The bumper strip is a copy of an N90 strip and does not fit flush to the frame, it has little wings sticking up. Lots of other things wrong too, but that is immediately obvious.

I can say with confidence that the pics you posted the racket is fake, I am living in Malaysia, and as far as I know the warranty card is not attached to the racket....and wording 'Wilson' in gold is off in one of the pics.

Best thing you can do is pop off the cap......and confirm authenticity. But it is a very good fake...if you get this racket under USD 50....its definitely worth fooling around with....if you are paying slightly under retail .....waste of money :-p

Well, you are all getting turned over, if you think I get my frames at 38% off trade, trade being 75 for a 150 racket so less than a third of what you are paying in the shop.
