FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

DO NOT buy anything from Bo Peng, sbny888@yahoo.com. Whom I also assume is "Tennis Crazy" and "jmks8888" and "sw2ny888." There are suspicious posts in the FS section by him.

I bought what I thought was an authentic Asian nCode 6.1 Tour 90 from him. It looked good upon arrival, but upon closer inspection, the grip is plastic, the "W" logo on the butt cap fell off the cap itself, and the inside of the handle has huge nails through it. The paint job itself is pretty much crap when you really take a look. All the foil parts have bubbles and are inconsistent. The biggest thing you notice is, the grommets and lower piece of grommet in the tongue don't even line up correctly with the holes.

Nice fake in pictures. POS in hand.

Won't be trying this Asian **** again.

Anyone notice "Break Point" the expert who supposedly verified this guy's stuff was banned? Coincidence?

I don't think Breakpoint would spend all that time getting a good rep so he could sell a few fake racquets.

post some pics if you can of this fake stick. i'd love to see how they tried to pass this as a real one.

thanks for the heads up and warning. i know, i've noticed some of the people on this forum are pretty sarcastic. i'll probably get flamed for that remark, but like i said, "some", not all of the people.

Fake racquets are all over south east asia including other sports apparel.. For example in Vietnam, Ho chi Minh city, you can buy the same wilson, babolat, prince and etc.. with exact specs and looks but for a cheaper price. Much much cheaper price and the racquet would last you about 1 week or so. I was told by the distributors that there are 3 different qualities..
1 is for Europe, 2 is for North America and the worst one is for Asia and the rests are immitate by the SAME manufacture in China with low low quality..

Same with clothing. You can walk in a BIG, BRAND NAME department store and you saw NIKE clothing all over the place but most of those are replicas or FAKE. The price is even more expensive than the real one. I told them this is not the real ones and they replied "This is NIKE China. They are licensed so it's real" but in fact it's all FAKEs..

JL

Technically, They're Authentic. (Unless they weren't REALLY Licensed.) Just their products are not produced with the same quality.(Or anywhere near it)

That's why I was asking. He went on and on about how much of a perfect 10 the racquet was and then got banned. Just seemed strange. Sorry to any BP fans out there...

Breakpoint verifies real racquets not fakes....plus he got banned for something completely differnet.

did BP say that he was a legit seller?

either way...you're completely wrong about BP. BP was banned for an argument w/ NBMJ...so don't go aroudn blaming someone who had nothing to do with this.

also, did you check the seller to see his references? if he did, how many did he have? because if it's only a couple, it's possible that he actually sold legit rackets only to get his references up.

anyway...i dont think BP would have spent countless hours posting here just so he can make a couple hundred bucks. so please don't assume on these forums, especially if it's personal

Don't listen to snowflewis, he is part of Breakpoint's master plan to scam people, in fact I think Snoflewis is Breakpoint's sister. Just kidding!!!!

I really don't give a crap about BreakPoint. Either way, don't buy from the other guy I mentioned. He definitely posted a different picture of the inside of the handle. The one he sent has huge nails all through it. Plus I called Wilson and gave them the Ser# and they had no record of it.

The racquet you mentioned. I think I remember him making a thread about it asking if it was a fake and people came to the conclusion that it was. I'll find it now the specs were all wrong and everything, spelling mistakes even.

BTW: You're artwork is really good :D

if you dont care about BP then at least have the integrity to delete the suspicious question you posted... this is someone's well built reputation you're creating suspicion about and i dont think it's fair that someone that doesnt know much about him should be putting BP's reputation on the line. not to mention, BP's currently banned, so there's really no way for him to clear up his name.

it seems like you're taking your frustration out on the wrong things. in the end, you have no one else to blame but yourself for trusting some guy that sold fake rackets. it could have just been a fake n6.1 tour 90 US version that was made fake, thus lighter...so it was advertised as the n6.1 asian version.

First of all, I was responding to MasturB's request for help with verification in this thread: http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=111102, and not yours (DavidKUGA).

Second, you never asked me to verify any racquet you were about to buy so, of course, I never responded to you about any Asian nCode 90 (nor any other racquet for that matter).

Third, I was basing my comments purely on the pics that were posted by MasturB in that above thread on the racquet that HE was thinking of buying. I have never seen that racquet in person. And based only on those pics, I would still say that one is a real Asian nCode 90.

Thus, I don't know what my comments have anything at all to do with you since I was helping MasturB with his decision and not you. I don't even have any idea whatsoever who the seller of that racquet is since he never mentioned the seller by name. If you bought a racquet from the same seller (don't know if that's the case or not), you certainly did not ask my opinion about the EXACT racquet that you were about to buy as I don't recall you posting any pics and asking for my help. The racquet in those pics that MasturB posted in the above thread was probably bought by MasturB, so I have no idea which racquet you bought since I never saw any pics of it. Anyway, if the racquet you received is as you described and you think it's a fake, then the seller obviously did not send you the same racquet as was shown in those pics that MasturB posted. I even mentioned in that thread that if the handle has nails going through it then it's most likely a fake.

Anyway, I would appreciate it if you would get your facts straight before falsely accusing innocent people on this board.

(BTW, me getting banned has nothing at all to do with this.)

Off topic: Jeff, do you think you'll do a review for the n90? Really curious to what you think about it! Thanks!

I am actually working on one now. I was able to hit with it today for about 3 hours. I will do one now, and then revisit it after a couple weeks.

hey, i also got a fake h-tour from e-bay australia. damn! it was really heavy and it has a big (110 sq in) head.

hey how does one spot the real from the fake? thanks...

OK wow... this board is the END ALL of things in the world, so I'll apologize to you, Sir. You are of sound character. I'd buy you a stringing if I ever met you. I'd shake your hand and look you straight in the eyes and truly ask your forgiveness... But seriously, didn't mean to electronically slander you under your pseudonym.

The racket I received WAS the racquet pictured, short of the shot of the inside of the handle. If I recall, that one had no big nails driven through it. But it WAS the racquet pictured in the others—the same one, with the bumper guard/grommet set that curled up off of the frame a bit (which you said was no concern, because the strings would pull it back...your comment). Thing was, the guard had to be BENT slightly in one part to even fit on the racquet it was suppose to be.

Your involvement with those photos is what led me to conclude falsely. Pardon me.

Well, if the racquet you received has nails in the handle then obviously he did not send you the exact same racquet as the one in all the pics since that one had NO nails in the handle.

BTW, almost all bumper guards curl a bit or don't fit flush to the frame until they are strung for the first time. If you've ever replaced a bumper guard/grommet set yourself, you'd see that it doesn't always fit flush at first (especially Wilson ProStaffs like the nCode 90) when you first install the new bumper guard/grommet until you actually string it up.

BTW, how did you end up with the racquet instead of MasturB? He sure asked enough questions to make us think he was definitely going to buy the racquet. Did you outbid him or something? Or did you buy the other one the seller had that MasturB didn't buy? Which would explain the differences BTW.

I had posted about the other one MasturB had mentioned the guy was selling. The seller emailed me privately and said it was still available.

Yeah, well, it wasn't going to replace my nSIXONE 95 anyway. I just wanted a n90 to mess around with. I guess I'll just wait and maybe demo a k95X and think about that later.

But whatever. I just didn't want this guy ripping anyone else off.

He could have just sent a diff pic of the inside of the handle. Maybe he has a real one, too. Either way, he has my money. Lesson learned.

FYI jkm888 is trying to sell more asian ncodes and so is sbny888. I assume they are the same people.

Actually the sbny88 e-mail is the same guy from the pics I posted that I was planning on buying my asian ncode from.

He actually e-mailed me about this whole contraversy. I believe him when he says he isn't trying to sell people fake rackets. He's been nothing but sincere in the e-mails I exchanged with him.

My brother that was going to buy it for me ran short on cash for a bit due to personal reasons. He's supposed to buy the other one (3/8 grip) from the sbny888 guy in a few days.

This guy was selling an asian one on the boards recently (last few days). The pictures show it is legit. It is legit. It was just the first one where he made a thread about that wasn't. I think this is the one that the OP has.

o.k. guys....

tennis crazy and I are brothers. I do not know sbny888.

I did buy a Asian nCode one time it turned out to be fake so I was return for a full refund. Then I bought 2 other Asian nCode 1 is earlier version and the other is a later version. Breakpoint can verified this.....

They are both real, but I wanted to sell one to get some $$ for my new Asian K90.

Anyways, it's not for sale anymore and I'm getting Asian K90 in 2 weeks, I'm so excited...

I have just receive the US K90 last Thursday, I have been hitting with it everyday so far. Feels much better than my US nCode, just wish if it was a little lighter.

If anyone wants to try my US and Asian K90z, e-mail me in 2 Weeks. By the way, you must be local to me.
