Famous people playing adult leagues or tournaments?

Dominic Moore just recently played in the open division of a local tournament.

I played tennis once with a guy in NY who was playing against the NY Rangers, he played for the LA kings and showed up at the courts and said he wanted to play with a good player. I was a top ranked Jr player. He was easily the fastest, most athletic guy I was ever on the court with. But he was far from famous...

Hockey players in the early 80's were probably pretty anonymous.

He played in the 2000s and is now one the broadcast team for the local NHL team. That being said, overall most hockey players can probably walk around most places without getting swamped by fans.

Ohio State FB Coach Ryan Day looking like a mid level 4.0? Looked like he was taking it easy on ol Rece Davis. With coaching by OSU tennis coach Ty Tucker he's coming along for having started during COVID.

Which ones of these are actual real tennis fans or even tennis players?

I only know that Ben Stiller is pretty serious.

U.S. Open 2025 celebrity sightings: Simone Biles, Ben Stiller, Anna Wintour, SNL cast members and more

The stars showed up and out for one of tennis' biggest events.

If this is mid level 4.0 I’m Yannick Sinner. Even if you’re taking it easy on someone you can still move your feet, lol.

You guys make it seem like being a mid-level 4.0 is some great accomplishment. ;) There are a couple other videos of Coach Day hitting (on TC) and he is admittedly strictly a basher. But he was a college (D3) quarterback and like most of us, as he gets older, put on a few extra lbs, so he has some athletic background and seems to enjoy the release.

Nobody is saying it is a great accomplishment. But it represents a certain level of ability, and this guy just isn't showing that.

Mid 4.0 is probably the top 25% of all tennis players, so not too shabby.
