He played in the 2000s and is now one the broadcast team for the local NHL team. That being said, overall most hockey players can probably walk around most places without getting swamped by fans.

There are a couple other videos of Coach Day hitting (on TC) and he is admittedly strictly a basher. But he was a college (D3) quarterback and like most of us, as he gets older, put on a few extra lbs, so he has some athletic background and seems to enjoy the release.
