I have decided to let tennis go for now after reaching the 4.5-5.0 level, dont know if I will ever go back to it, pursuing a career of professional Basketball, i played ball since 6 and gave it up at 12, I am just getting back into Basketball again at 15 which isnt too late, I don't think. I am going to practice at least 3 hours a day, to recatch lost time, I hit 12 3 point shots in a row today which shows i have still got it, and I hopefully if i practice this often i will become as good as I can be and when i was 8-11( where I scored more than 40 points a game) I was dumb to give Basketball up because I was going to make it to the pros easily. Hopefully this all works out and I get to college in America and Get into the NBA. Thanks to everyone at Talk Tennis, you've all been great. Watched a movie called Rebound: The legend of Earl "The Goat" Manigault. Greatest movie I have ever seen, he is the greatest basketballer that ever lived, was only 6'1 and could touch the top of the backboard, was going to make it before he got involved in drugs, and never realized his potential, Kareem Abdul Jabaar said Earl was simply the best, after he kept clean from drugs, he dedicated his life to helping kids play ball at the now famous Rucker Park NYC, he died at age 53 from heart failure in 1998. Realized how much I loved Basketball and hopefully I can get back my lost time and become better than I used to be. I just hope it's not too late. Good luck to everyone with their tennis.
