That's what i know:
Cerrutti 1881 - Wilander, Taroszy, someone else;
Marlboro Classics - Sundstrom, Hlasek, Dowdeswell;
Jockey - Borg, Gilbert, Wilkison;
Bally - Hlasek, Rosset;
Robert Bruce - Connors.

Wasn't Connors also with Cerrutti?
Panatta was with Superga, and Lendl too, I think.

You're right about Connors, he was that "someone else".
Panatta and Lendl used Superga shoes. Don't know if it is a fashion brand but not an apparel manufacture for sure:).
Panatta used his own ''Panatta'' clothing brand, don't know who produced it for him.
Lendl used Australian L'Alpina along with his Superga time.

Yes, I was talking about the shoes. Not sure whether they ever produced apparel, but if they did I don't recall that. I understood your question as one that excludes brands that are considered sports apparel producers nowadays, but are overwhelmingly fashion brands.

I think Nystrom did Cerrutti. I would swear Connors just sewed 1881 patches on his Robert Bruce line- some styles looked identical.

He also wore Brooks tennis shoes

I loved those Brooks shoes. I had worn the adidas Nastase for the longest and switched to them. The only problem I had with them was they lasted about two months. I had to order two pair at a time, but those shoes hold a special place in my tennis heart. Just great shoes and one of my first mail orders since I couldn't find them around here. I wore them until they quit making them.

I seem to remember Johnny Nobackhand wore mustachioed Casben clothing; maybe that was some Australian only arrangement - the world was much bigger back then.

John Alexander wore that too; used to 'rock' - IMO LOL - some of their dark blue and white stuff.

Super Pros? Never heard about it.
I had a pair of the Connors ones. They used that >< Robert Bruce logo on the side; red heel tab with a gold signature:

Vilas wore a pair too. His weren't leather uppers, I don't know what they were. Had powder blue trim around the ankle and a GV logo. He wore them US only for a time, Diadora elsewhere:

Fred Perry was tennis clothes before it became a lifestyle brand. Fred Perry was the last Brit to win Wimbledon before Andy Murray.
Interesting that before FP switched to tennis he was world champion in table tennis (in 1929). Considering The Championship (Wimbledon) winner being non-official World champion in lawn tennis, Fred was very unique athlete. He won Wimbledon three times in a row, also he was first to win all four GS titles (career GS).

I don't think that was Lafont. I know what you're referencing; the Lafont logo was a lower case l also crossed like an 'f.'

Yeah, great find, Italian brand called Elleci LC. Young Stefan worn it until his everlasting contract with Adidas, started around second half of 1984.
Boy, that's a new name for me, and I've at this awhile. Never knew what that logo stood for. And while I'm at it; what was really the Connors deal with Cerutti 1881? Design looked just like Robert Bruce. IE, put an Cerutti logo on Robert Bruce, done.

It was the other way around. When he went back to Robert Bruce they put Robert Bruce logos on Cerutti 1881 clothes and done.

No, it was original Cerutti 1881 line. For some period company produced tennis and ski clothing and got contracts with top athletes: Connors, Wilander, Taroczy in tennis and the great Stenmark in ski.
