Fast stringers - video

Hi guys, I wanted to share this for a long time ;-) ...first I saw that we see Roger's PS90 being strung, but looking at it in detail, I am thinking it might be Dimitrov's PS 93.., it is at the 2013 ATP 500 in Basel and the stringer,

Misel Milovanovic from Basel, is supposedly fast...that's what they say in the article anyway. I wouldn't know much, as I do not string myself. Unfortunately we do not see how much increased the film speed is.

Anyway, enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieH540Peufc

Yeah i think thats dimitrovs racquet since it says 95 on the frame and not 90 and the crosses are also 4g, which dimitrov uses, not alu rough, which federer uses.

Nice to see indeed.

Love the way he is preping it on the way down.

No double pulling the mains / use of starting clamp to keep tension on the first main / keep the clamp up.
Tie off knot Parnell? Doesn't seem to pull them back and forth much, but that could be hard to spot at the speed of the video.

Does use a starting clamp on the 1st cross.

Interesting use of the handled tool with nice smooth shaft. Might try that.

Looks like attacking it with an icepick - string straightening?

Yup. Blunt tipped awl, or setting off tool, used for string straightening and to fan the crosses while pulling.
