for me pro line evolution ..
a bit like the weiss silverstring, but maybe a little more powerful and better tension stability.

I have a hard time comparing it to alu power, because I am not objective with regard to lux, but I would say that on comfort and power I find it much better, and I would not approach tension stability ! ... (as I play with flexible frames and control, I could not express myself on the control vs aluminum!

among what could come closest to evolution, in similar gauges, it would be: rpm blast, yonex poly tour pro, and signum plasma .. but evo is better everywhere .. in my opinion

the only one that would really come close (especially in terms of softness) it might be yonex poly tour air .. but even on this ground there, I think evo has a little head start, the pre-stretch and the extra power makes evo superior to it ...

if there was only one to choose, i think i would hesitate between scorpion weiss and evo kirsch, but for just the color blue, it will ultimately be evo who will prevail. in my opinion.

I’ve been playing proline ll 16g hybrid with duraflex syngut . The 16g last longer in tension than the smaller gauges. I’ve played proline x 17L but that is much cheaper string . What’s good about that is with the super smash orange I could compare it with the proline x in cherry orange and have a string to put in my son’s racket and know how it would play . Super smash orange also priced the same as proline x.

I don’t play much other brands strings . I go by what high school and college campuses are putting in their rackets. Then I stick with kirschbaum.

Their syn. gut - the standard version, not the premium - was the best syn. gut I've ever used and they stopped selling it not too long ago. Too bad. TW was selling it for $35 per reel, but if they brought it back and charged $60-$70 per, I'd still buy it.

The kirschbaum USA site has the syngut reels in stock for $35

Kirschbaum is absolutely solid across the board.

Their syn gut, as @fuzz nation said, is just about the best there is, especially for the stupidly ridiculous cost of a reel (it has a very low string-to-string CoF, and a beautiful combo of buttery-ness yet crisp-ness, while also being pretty darn durable). Their polys are also awesome, with almost all of them coming partially pre-stretched with better-than-average to excellent tension maintenance. I personally love Max Power as a cross to call kinds of shaped poly mains; it makes a great "Firewire Boost Stiff" (with T1 Firewire in the mains) for racquets with enough flex/pocketing from the frame itself.

I’m about to put flash in a 2018 pure drive tour. Yellow at that, pretty excited to try it. I like evolution and max power a lot

Any thoughts on competition? I have yet to try the full line up. I remember super smash honey. That was weed eater string. I hope to try evolution and pro line ii in black.
