yeah, you can find it, at least the first one the fed french open 09 polo. i got one not too long ago. it's just hard to find the smaller sizes, but you can get one for sure. the last one he wore in harmburg, now that's hard to find. i'm looking for one in size L and it's tough.

Sponsored by UPS now?
Funny, this, since Federer's sometimes nicknamed 'Fedex'. :)

But anyway, when was that outfit worn?

I kind of like the v-necked shirts Federer wore for a short period of time (forgotten when and which tournament), since it differed from all the polos and T-Shirts everywhere else. Any pictures of Federer wearing that?

I'm definitely not one of them. I still think Andre's old shirts are fugly and if they did re-relase his stuff I wouldn't buy it. But at the same time I like the current Nadal stuff.
Yeah, that Agassi stuff was brutal when it came out; time can't have helped. I can guarantee you that, if they came out with a retro line of the Challenge Court apparel, you'd be seeing it again at Marshall's. Really soon. :)

^ i hope that was sarcasm

You had to be there I guess- the time the era- compression shorts first introduction.

Those outfits were the first true color induction to tennis- it's what started outfits and the new fabrics for future generations

What???!!?? "The first true color introduction to tennis"??? You've got to be kidding. Just go back and look at what guys like Arthur Ashe and Rod Laver were wearing in the Seventies - they didn't have the bold graphics, but the colors were often quite bright. Kenny Rosewall in orange, Laver in red or green, Newcombe in pink, Ashe in all kinds of great coordinating outfits - rugby striped shirts, perfectly matched shorts, even crew necks. Way, way before Agassi and his silly neon stuff. Don't make such absurdly definitive statements unless you know you can back them up. (And we were wearing polyester in 1975, so that's not new, either.)

Exactly Nike's Agassi's clothing were the first loud color renditions into tennis. Until then there was nothing that stood out like the mixed color distortions that Nike brought to the game with the Agassi line.

Full colors like Kenny Rosewall in Orange- or Laver's Red- was just that.

I meant more wild then just plain base colors-

1975 polyester was not nearly close to the cloth like softness of Nike's 1990's poly blend- that's for certain.

the only "loud" agassi clothes were from, like, 1990-1993. after that, nike started taming it down a bit. when everyone thinks nike agassi, they think two outfits: 1990 french open final (black and pink) and 1990 us open final (black and flourescent yellow), and maybe the '91 french open final (same outfit as '90 uso, but in purple rather than yellow). i don't know, i think that if either one of those shrts were re-released by nike, they'd sell pretty well. there seemed to be a lot of clammering for it when james blake wore that "tribute" shirt to agassi at the us open a few years ago. the flourescent yellow of shirts past is no different than the "volt" color of last year, and many people seemed to love that. what's the difference? are the old agassi shirts any worse than the orange with pink, blue, yellow stripes crew that nadal is wearing right now? or the flourescent pink with flourescent yellow line across the chest polo that he wore at roland garros last year? one exception to the years i'll make is for the shorts he wore at the beginning of 1995. aussie open and french shorts were hideous.

I just got mine in the other day, the colors are really cool together and the design is simple yet bold and stylish. Looks pretty slick

Looks like a nice quality shirt in the pic.

Is the material comparable to other Adidas stuff?

J

Yea, the material is slightly lighter than most of the other adidas polo's I have but slightly heavier than than one I have. Couldnt tell you the exact composition of it though. When I get home Ill check it out.

I got one in a size smaller than I usually wear, the tight fit looks good on me, shows off my big muscles. : )

So like promised, the composition of the older adidas polos I have is 100% polyester for all four of them, 2 from the 2003, 1 from 04' and 1 from 05' all from the competition line. The new Murray polo I just got is 87% polyester and 13% spandex.

Yeah, I think so. I remember the first time I saw a picture of the 1990 US Open final, Pete and Andre looked so different from the way I was used to seeing them (First time I saw Andre was about 2001). Then I noticed Andre's outfit and the mullet and I laughed so hard.:)

I also don't believe he has anywhere near the same popularity level, that he did a year ago. He's lost a lot of his approval in the tennis community, ever since he released his book and pretty much spit in the face of all his fans and peers.

Just my opinion but I doubt a re-release of Andre's 20 year old stuff, would sell well.

Wish I could still find this outfit. Nadal's 2006 French Open. I wish Nike would use Blue and Black together more often.

Had that one, and loved it. Had it in red, couldn't find the blue one.

You have GREAT taste in tennis shirts. How good was the cotton material on those? Positively LUXURIOUS, they feel like silk, but it's such fine cotton, and they breathe great too..Those were more expensive than really nice dress shirts back then, but I don't have to tell you that, you know what I mean.

nope i don't think it was either. nothing wrong with a man admiring another mans body. using it an a base for what you would want to look like. you can just tell when someone is attractive.

i think it would've sounded alright had the guy said nadal looks ripped or jacked in there. most guys don't say people's biceps look sweet but maybe im wrong

that wasnt gay...

I like Nadal, know what it takes to get big biceps (cause Ive got big ones) so I can fully appreciate how difficult it is to get them.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GAY ABOUT THAT

you wouldnt understand cause you dont have developed biceps nor do you likely know anything about how to get them to grow that big.
