What do you prefer to eat while watching a tennis match? I assume popcorn and nachos are popular. I favor celery stick and carrots with blue cheese dip.

I prefer tears of TTW members in Pro Match Results section in a particular thread about the match I am watching, if my favorite player is winning of course.

In front of the TV …. potato chips or pizza … or both :p

Impressed by the healthier options offered but they just don’t get the job done.

And a cool beer is a given, especially when I’m watching at my club with a crowd of friends.

It depends on what type of game, if I'm emotionally involved I wouldn't be able to eat.
I'm one of those whose stomachs close when they're tense, while others let off steam when they're tense with food.
We are not all the same.

In general, to watch a tennis match on television I do without, but if forced I obviously prefer simple crisps, even better salted peanuts accompanied by beer.

I've had different things over the years that I preferred. Can't really narrow it down to one thing.

With other sports I’m mostly watching US leagues or college sports in baseball, football, basketball etc. and so the time in front of the TV is in the evening or on weekends. I‘m more likely to sit on the couch for a few hours and snack. Tennis is an international sport and most of my watching in California is late evening, early morning or have an IPad streaming a match while multitasking remote work in the daytime - so it is more common to eat whatever meal coincides with that time rather than snack.

Liver and Onions
L & O ??? So that's why, when you call friends to come over and watch the big match,
they always give you dumb fake excuses such as, "I would really like to come,
but I'm busy trying to straighten the laces in my flip-flops. Maybe next time.

The question here gives me great pause! I'm trying to remember what it was like, to watch tennis on that odd contraption called TV.
You see folks, up here in my homemade high alpine hut at elevation 13,000 feet, the only match that I enjoy watching is when
ol' Boris the Bear has a fight with Edward the Elk. I watch that from my sitting log, while slowly eating a bowl of my varmint stew.
What could go with such a surprisingly tasty meal?? Well, of course I still have my last jug of Mountain Moonshine Whisky!! :D

You've misled me to clicking on this thread and reading how pro tennis "viewers" cut cheese in front of their flat screens. Nachos at you from behind the baseline of the ITF/ATP tour!
