Favourite Led Zeppelin songs?

Favorite song is Nobody's Fault But Mine.

Stairway To Heaven and Freebird are banned in every music store in the solar system although I still hear 15 year olds pick a guitar off the wall and cack their way through the first few bars.

Australian TV show, "The Money Or The Gun" featured musical guests who were required to do their version of Stairway.

Post of the year. Oooooooh. (picture my avatar shaking head singing that). Fake commercial was great. Almost made it all the way through the imitation Doors cover...

Tempest344, may your favorite deity bless you for being the OP on this topic.

An instant classic... a cheeky **** take.
--Melody Maker (UK)1978

One of rock's great lost parodies.
--LA Times

Little Roger's "Stairway" totally de-pantsed the original, as music and as lyric.
--Dave Marsh

My favorite!
--Robert Plant on NPR 2005

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Immigrant Song, Since I've been Loving You, Kashmir, Achilles Last Stand, Nobody's Fault But Mine, When the Levy Breaks, Custard Pie, and all the more "bluesy" songs..but, to be honest, Zeppelin is one of the few bands that I can listen to every song on every album...

I listened to about 40 songs last night from zep and Floyd
It was good !!!!

Must have been 4 hrs
If you like PF then listen to Alan Parsons Project for clues on his contributions to DSOTM as their engineer. He also linked up with California band Ambrosia in the studio for their first two albums and they played on his "Tales Of Mystery And Imagination," a really cool reworking of Edgar Allen Poe's stories.

Might well be the best producer/engineer ever-his mastering of a huge best of collection on iTunes I bought a year or so back is just phenomenal. He had quite the run here in the mid 1970's with back to back UK number one singles as a producer with Steve Harley's Make Me Smile & Pilot's January & other big hits by both artists.

I love PF despite having extreme distaste towards roger waters

The worst zep song ever made is better than the bubble gum, computer created filth that passes for music today

Today's music is about on par with something you find floating in the bowels of a toilet bowl at a football game

People please keep zep thread alive and post
Can barely think of any songs the last decade-a few Katy Pervy ones stick in the mind, the big Lady Gaga one & a couple of Adele ones. The rest just sound like one big overproduced, sugary mess with no redeeming value.

Old Grey Whistle Test cobbled together a great video for Trampled Underfoot in 1975, images go really well with the song. 2 years earlier they put together a totally bizarre one for No Quarter which doesn't seem to be around online any longer.
