Where are the mighty Fed fans now, wilting under the weight of the exposed truth that Nole is the GOAT and Fed is a fraud.

I remember Djokovic was called out by Fedfans for his "gamesmanship" at UO 2011 SF matchpoint. Like he influenced Federer by engaging with crowd. :sneaky:

The guy from the video probably has a machine gun and God knows what else. Police should question him for the safety of the neighborhood. Who knows what nasty things go through heads of these kinds of no-lifer people who identify with their sports idols. If I were Djokovic I would be scared once Fed's record is surpassed. Yeah, we all know what happened to Monica Seles. And who knows how many of those crazy people come to this forum, read this and posts here.

@sureshs got a taste of his own medicine. Do we even have a count of Nadal jinx threads he started.

I have been saying for a while (on my previous account) that Nole is my favorite to go down as GOAT, but right now, I think I would say it's still Fed. This previous match actually didn't tell me much about who is the greater player. Novak won while not being at his best, and Fed almost won while being very old. The only thing it did for me was add a Grand Slam to Novak's count, which is still a very big deal. This loss isn't really a blow to Fed's legacy as all he did was improve it with his play in this tournament, but the lost opportunity to improve it further and separate himself with a win over Novak is undeniable.

lol. Not just that ... Is it DjokoviK, or Djokitch or whatever? What, this guy was reconding the point on his TV. :-DWhat the heck? It's all on YouTube. I'm not going to even comment on the point. The video itself is hilarious.

Very much so. I don't know how so many forget, but there were several Djoker favored loud comments (here and in other media) saying that he would easily mow over whoever won between Nadal and Federer. Instead we got a 5 set match which was practically a 6 set match with a historical one of the longest finals, and first time ending tiebreaker. With Djoker at 32 and Fed at 37 they are both probably already over their prime which was back in their mid 20's anyways. In the Bautista-Agut match, Djoker also had loose patches. Fed gave a great effort and showed he could improve his serve and backhand for the final matches even matching Nadal in rallies. If Fed decides to continue on as long as he can from now, I think it'll still be a contest between the big 3 in how long they can sustain their over-30 consistency and longevity.

When I watch this video I imagine an american sitting in his basement, somewhere in rural place, where the next neighbours are few kilometers down the dirt road.
