I have about 20 pairs of Vapor 9s in all different colors, including a couple of custom colors I designed through NiKe ID. It's the only sneaker that fits perfectly and needs no break in period out of the box. The drawback is that the soles wear out quickly, so I rotate the shoes and since I play every day, I always have a fresh shoe to play in. Even so, I would buy these AJ3s, but I wouldn't wear them on the court. I would wear them as a casual shoe. The leather upper would be a deal killer for the courts. I like the mesh top of the regular Vapor 9s.

I was in total nosebleed seats that night. One cool aspect about the dark outfit white socks/shoes was watching his footwork from 3000 feet up. They were so bright it looked like a pair of shoes with no body running around, kinda fun. Shoes are ugly up close though...

LOL what a joke! $1,200? Like $600 goes to Jordan's pocket, $400 for Fed, and $200 MSRP for the shoe? People should know for $1,200 one can buy a custom handmade (Made to Order) dress shoe from Italy/UK/France with the highest standard in shoemaking, and in the best material available. Not some sneaker made by ex farmers making minimum wage. The so called shoe game is beyond me.

Those who think its ugly obviously isn't a sneakerhead, the aj3 white cements are one of the most sought after jordan sneakers for sneaker heads, to mash it with the vapors of fed and is playable on court is just heaven for sneakerheads and tennis fans.

For roger to make a collaboration with jordan is great, ive been waiting for this, hopefully they make more models out of it.

The money angle aside, the mashup between Jordan and RF is good publicity for tennis.

However, I agree with some of the opinions here, that the shoe looks ugly. I don't usually wear Nike anyway (usually too narrow for my feet) and this just makes me run further away from them.
