Never count on anything until it is done. Nadal with an overall poor record at Wimbledon since 2011, Federer only one slam semi in the past 4 slams, Djokovic looking inconsistent since Australia, none are assured being in the semis/finals, particularly Nadal depending on his draw

The Nadal camp have nothing to lose at Wimbledon. It will be fun to see how far he progresses this year. He has been preparing for Wimbledon with intense grass court practices at Mallorca Open. He is very keen to do well at Wimbledon again.
The top 2 favourites clearly are Djokovic and Federer for Wimbledon. Still, with some luck, Nadal will be a big threat for them too.

Tennis moved on from being grass dominated to being HC dominated and maybe it's time to move on and have it as an indoor sport. It was LAWN tennis but has virtually gotten rid of grass so why is a roof so objectionable? It's a fallacy that Nadal cant play indoors. It's also a truer test of skill indoors. Less based on luck (just like HC is less down to bad bounces than grass and clay)

Wrong. Only get 75% of the BEST 12-24 month grass result. So only 1,500 for Wimbledon ‘17 and nothing for Halle/Stuttgart ‘18. So he needed to win Halle to pass Nadal.

The biggest benefit from the #2 and not a small detail for sure. Now Federer can concentrate on building up his form as the tournament progresses, instead of having to peak earlier for Djokovic in case of such a SF.
