'...if you show the match', he refers to ESPN's tape delay of the night match tonight. and then follows up by saying '.. it would be better if it was live'.
americans hate tennis
like what, football where play stops every 6 seconds and starts after 2 min?

I doubt Federer knows anything about ESPN's coverage. He was probably just making a friendly joke that, to the audience that knows the truth of the situation, turned out to be a lot funnier than it actually was.
whoa whoa whoa..stop right there..I Love Tennis, but don't you hate on football.
ye because ESPN likes to do that...
americans hate tennis
rofl yes, little league baseball, what a disgrace.
They should be showing every match of the GOAT tennis player, it will be a lost opportunity after he retires.
nice, espn sucks.

Nice sig, icedevil0289 -- though you could have credited the original post of mine that you took it off of
for the record, tennis stops after every point as well...
but it doesn't stop for two minutes for the players to grab each other's asses and bend over in front of each other getting into a thinly disguised mounting posture.
The time between pts in Nadal matches is longer than the time between plays in the NFL. The NFL has a 40 second play clock, Nadal and Djokovic were routinely going to at least 45 seconds in their Madrid match.
that's why I don't watch matches between these two exceptions
how common is it in football, for the series of events to go on like that?
They're showing Little League Baseball instead of live tennis on ESPN2...yeah.
You're interjecting Truth into this kid's childish rant? Why?for the record, tennis stops after every point as well...
He needs something to do as he is changing nappies - why not catch the match at the same time? This is the jist of what he said, by the way.

Agassi was the last player I can remember who had this effect on people. Nadal, Sampras, Hewitt, etc, they were all just dumb jocks, dorks with no charisma. Then he hung out and signed autographs.

well can you disagree with him? i mean, if its tape delayed he has to stay up later to watch it also.
