That is exactly why I immediately jumped on the Tapatalk bandwagon. I am just enjoying this image upload from phone feature for now. After that I will probably uninstall this mess. Or maybe I will disable it's notifications and keep it and will use it when there's need for small talk. The best thing is no need for refresh. This has a lot of advantages.

It's one of his consecutive type records IMO. Those will be hardest to break. Either the 10 straight finals, 23 straight SFs or the 237 straight weeks at #1. I say this mostly because even Djokovic and Nadal didn't get near any of those, and if they didn't I don't see anyone on the horizon that will.

Can't use this argument at all against Nadal.
A lot of damage was done by 2012. Fed turned 31 in August 2012 and by then the H2H stood at 18-10.
At the end of 2009 it was 13-7. Since then Nad has 10 wins and Fed has 8.
Even if you only consider how the H2H stood at the end of 2009(the supposed end of Fed's prime) you can see how much Nadal beat him.
Now all the talk about the red surface will begin but it's upon Fed that he has a losing H2H to Nadal because Djoker too had the red surface problem but he still has a winning H2H against Nadal. By the end of 2009 Fedal stood at 5-5 off clay. 2-1 grass for Fed. 4-3 Hard for Nad.
Now given that this was all in Federer's prime and peak, an equal H2H on his best surfaces against a non peak Hardgrassdal seems really bad.
The only argument in favour of Fed is that he has a bad matchup against Nadal but that argument can be made for the losing party of all matchups. So every loser is a good player but has a bad matchup. No.
The Fedovic rivalry can be brought down to age but the Fedal rivalry has always been Nadal's.

Nah Fed is the better slow HC player but Nadal matches up better on slow courts (he can run down would be winners)

As for 2004 - 2014 let’s say

04 Miami: slow - Nadal
05 Miami: slow - Fed
06 Dubai: medium - Nadal
06 YEC: medium-fast - Fed
07 YEC: medium-fast - Fed
09 AO: medium-slow - Nadal
10 YEC: medium - Fed
11 Miami: slow - Nadal
11 YEC: medium - Fed
12 AO: slow - Nadal
12 IW: medium-slow - Fed
13 IW: medium-slow - Nadal
13 Cincy: medium-fast - Nadal

If you need any indication as to how a match in a faster HC between the two would have gone back then, we have the evidence:

Or see the 2007 match. Rafa was mostly helpless on quicker courts where Fed could hit FH winners that couldn’t be tracked down and tapped back/passing shot. AO 2009 was ridiculously slow, shots that would be winners would sit up enabling the defensive player to track them down and hit unbelievable passing shots.

Any USO, Cincinnati, Madrid indoors, YEC etc would’ve likely been a comfortable win for Fed.

For me the most impressive thing about Fed has been how he has carried himself through his career. I really never care about stats, but I like players who are true sportsman and ambassdors of the sport. You wold be hard pressed to find anyone better in the history of tennis to carry such weight with the style he has.
