Federer 19 Titles on Grass vs. Nadal 19 Titles on Hard Court

In 2010 Fed was not playing great neither Novak.
In 2013 was Federer's worse season.
In 2017 No Novak and Fed was injured.

North America HC: Fed 5 US open 5 IW 4 Miami 2 Canada 7 Cincinnati: 23 titles
Nadal 3 Us open 3 IW 0 miami 4 Canada 1 Cincinnati: 11 titles
Novak 2 Us open 5 IW 6 miami 1 Cincinnati 4 Canada: 18
Dude Federer in the peak of Nadal and Djokovic, which is the relevant time frame not when Henman was top 5 has 0 US Opens.

Federer fans cannot ignore the Nadal dominance on clay and north american hard. 4 Canada...3 IW 3 USO...thats 10 hard court titles at the 3 biggest north american events.

Novak has 3 USO titles. So 19.

He's not even won them all.....

According to you Fed was in his peak when Nadal won the Us open in 2010 2013 and 2017.:-D:-D Novak was in top form at the Us open 2017 as was Fed. Still fed managed to beat Youznhi something Nadal was not able to do at the Us open in 2006.:love:

Nadal was 18 in 2006...a player is far better at 37 than 18.

It's amazing that Federer has won the same amount of single titles on grass as Nadal on hard court. Grass season only lasted 1 month and the players only participated 2 events per year, and there's no MS1000 either. OTOH, most tournaments are on hard court that spread across the world and are available throughout the year. Hard court is the common surface that all players play on the most from every level(ATP250/500/1000, WTF, Slams).

Breakdown Federer's 19 grass titles and Nadal 19 hard court titles:

Number of slams
Federer - 8(Wimbledon)
Nadal - 4(3 USO, AO)

ATP250/500/1000
Federer - 11
Nadal - 14

Olympics
Nadal - 1
Federer - 0

Record in the finals
Federer - 19-7(73%)
Nadal - 19-26(42%)

how many grasscourt tournaments did fediva miss due to injuries?

What injury? Nadal always play every tournaments on his pet surface(clay season) every year but resort to skip grass season because he's good enough.

Another interesting stat is that Nadal won 1 more RG than Federer, hard courts goat, won on two hard court slams combined, and Fed had 5 extra years age wise to accomplish that...

Should I start thread about that amazing stat, which will be deleted in few hours, or just tobleave it here?

Talk about getting defensive.

Interesting stat. Wouldn't surprise me if Federer finishes ahead given Nadal's record on hard courts the past 18 months. Only just occurred to me that Djokovic has won as many Wimbledon titles as Nadal has at the two HC majors. Federer's won Wimbledon more times than Nadal has at the three non clay majors combined.
Nadal has won as many clay majors as Fed’s total haul at USO and AO.

No need to cast mud on these gods of the game.
