Federer first won 7 titles in a year in 2003 and he has won (at least) 7 in 2017. 14 years apart.

For perspective:
Connors won 11 titles in 1973 and 7 titles in 1982, 6 titles in 1972 and 5 titles in 1984.
Lendl won 7 titles in 1980 and 10 titles in 1989, 7 titles in 1980 and 5 titles in 1990.
Agassi won 6 titles in 1988 and 5 titles in 2002.

For his peers: this would be like Nadal winning 7 titles in 2019, Djokovic winning 7 titles in 2025.

Djokovic won a lot more than that in 2015. ;)

...I don't know how I forgot that one.
WTF is just an exo, doesn't count anyway. No wonder you forgot about it.

Federer won his first Halle-Wimbledon double in 2003, he won his latest Halle-Wimbledon double in 2017

14 years later and he is still going strong. Grass GOAT. ;)
