He will have reached at least 10 quarterfinals at all four Grand Slams. Only Lendl and Agassi have even reached at least 7 quarterfinals at all four Grand Slams.
He would have the second most amount of quarterfinal appearances at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open combined.

If Federer reaches the semifinals:
he will join Jimmy Connors as the only players to reach at least 9 semifinals at two different Grand Slams.

If Federer reaches the finals:
He will tie Sampras and Lendl for most consecutive years of reaching at least one grand slam final.

If he wins the tournament:
He will have won the most tournaments at two of the five biggest tennis tournaments and be tied for the most at two other tournaments.
He will have won the most tournaments at the two biggest tennis tournaments.
He will become the first player to win two different grand slams at least six times.
