"Federer and Nadal have transcended tennis more than Djokovic" — Toni Nadal

It's no surprise that the garabage from the Rafa basher made you throw up.
Here you go @octobrina10 :

"Ham and cheese: Hates the stuff. That goes for ham and cheese. His mother reports: "There are his eating habits, his loathing of cheese and tomato, and of ham, the national dish of Spain. I'm not as mad about ham myself as most people seem to be, but cheese? It is a bit peculiar.""

Toni Nadal didn't write this article (OP). He was interviewed by Sebastián Fest, the managing editor of 'Clay', a tennis magazine.

Here is the original article:
I still think he should focus on Felix.

Djoko fans getting all salty in a bunch again. Any high praises that doesn't include my male favorite idol(Djokovic) or isn't music to my ears, let's trash talk about it

ROFLMAO comparison with Michael Jordan, who retired, than came back after like 18 months, won 3 in a row... again... was the best player in the league at the age 33-35.. was clutch af and never ever choked 40-15 style.
Djokovic and his fans should be lucky that all the years of having younger all-time greats chase him messed up his psyche enough to donate matches to Djokovic. The supposed GoAT needed a 38 year old man to choke after outplaying the supposed GoAT.

Pretty salty and classless comment tbh. Regardless of whether it's true, that's not the kind of thing you say publicly, unless you have no ties to any of the 3 guys.

No lies were told. Federer is extremely charismatic , loved everywhere , Nadal got his crowd too and together had the most iconic rivalry out of the Big 3 despite having played the least. Djo has done well and no one is denying he's statistically above them. It's also true Nadal could have won more without injuries , not controversial at all and something people agree on other playera , but not him for some reason.

Man, show some sympathy.
It's much easier to suffer when you are not alone.

Emotional support is priceless in these hard times.

These are fake images surely or Fedal were acting?

All the comments about Fedal fans being salty, but then one opinion that doesn't go Djokovic's way triggers non-Fedal fans this badly. Poor babies, don't be upset, uncle Toni is all wrong and didn't mean what he said.

He's right about Federer. People that don't know anything about tennis know who Federer is.

That will be Novak's cross to bear! True enough the masses, including the Tennis Intelligentsia believe tennis begins and ends w/ Federer & Nadal! Unfortunately for them they're looking a little "whack" due to Djokovic owning all the major records out there including YE #1, Wks. @ #1, more majors & Masters events won, a double Golden Masters, & a triple CGS! :giggle: :sneaky::-D:happydevil:

Fact is, Nadal NEVER dominated any era. Whether that be the Federer era (2003-2009) or the Djokovic era (2011-today). He had 2010 at most. He was a disrupter, NEVER a conqueror.

And it's Toni's fault that this happened, more than anything.

he will always be the third wheel.....and it was his own making.
Dont follow this. Nadal won the most majors between 2005 to 2022. Is that not his era? I say that as he got overtaken after he stopped playing.

Utterly meaningless statement. What does "transcending tennis" even refer to?
There is something beyond beancounting and scouring ultimate tennis statistics. This is why so many have been reluctant to write declare the glory of Djokovic, but rather use antiseptic language, as “has all the stats,“ “never misses,“ “has all the numbers,“ “is the most successful,“ etc.

if Djokovic did exactly what he has done, but he played like Federer, I guarantee you that every single person would have declared his outright greatness above all.

Nadal never got his own era! He couldn't stay on the court long enough to even stay #1 for over a year! He has no YEC wins and has 1/2 the weeks @ #1 behind both Federer & Djokovic! The only thing that sets him apart are his clay court wins; taking 14 French Opens! Outside of that, his resume is a little "wanting" for an ATG! :-D :sneaky::unsure:

For sure. That's the roughest one.

There are a whole bunch of dings, but really don't need to look further than that singular match. :X3:

Wanting? He won the most slams over a17 year period while his main rivals were playing. Slams are more important than the regular tour.

Nadal entered 67 slams, Djokovic 70 slams (excluding current one). A slight difference of 3

Djokovic's winning % is slightly higher.

In comparison to Federer & Djokovic, Nadal's resume is just too imbalanced! Fedovic have so many wins outside of their favorite slam unlike Nadal who just acquired his Double CGS w/ win "down under" after a decade of his last victory! Pls don't play dumb! You know exactly what I'm talking about! :-D :D:giggle::laughing:

I really dont. Nadal off clay has a better resume than mcenroe lendl and agassi. How is it imbalanced. Should he have retired from the french open 10 years ago to balance it out?

Nadal held the record with less appearances than Joe ,though it was only 1. Nadal being a year older should be the one with at least 3 more appeareances above Joe , but instead he's trailing by 3 , soon 4.

They transcended Tennis by getting most of their records broken and ending up as losers.
So by your definition, anyone who isn't the ultimate bean bagger (even in the ultimate mug era) is a loser? Anyone who's earned just one slam is a loser? Get help, kid

While Nadal and Federer were busy transcending tennis, Djokovic has been busy breaking all their records and winning the head-head matchup.

Meh, Fed and Nadal did all the dirty work while looking freaking epic in the process. Nothing Djokovic did was new

Rafa greatest ever player on a single surface but Novak greater on far more surfaces such as hard court, indoors and grass. Just as well they stopped playing on carpet or that would have been another surfase Novak dominated on.

I hope if Novak wins another GS he moons the crowd with the word Toni written across both butt cheeks and grabs the interviewer's microphone and says "Hi Toni this is my ass you may kiss it, not on the left side and not on the right side but right down the middle".

Uncle Toni is like a sad and mad old uncle that just spouts utter rubbish and everyone just nods sympathetically towards him to humour his rantings.

He is basically throwing his rattle out of the pram basically saying that it is not fair that Novak can play better than Rafa on every surface except clay. Hate to break it to him but that is Rafa's weakness, and not Novak's fault that he is a much more complete player.

The stats at major level do not bear that out though. On clay nadal leads 8-2 in their h2h but off clay it is 3-5. Against Federer it is 5-0 on clay and 4-4 off clay. Nadal over 5 sets seems very competitive on every surface. His 2 great rivals less so on clay.
