Federer: Anyone Think He Will Reach 20 Majors?

It took him almost ten years since this thread was born, so Roger is an underachiever.
I agree actually. If a glorified injured clay court specialist can win 16 majors by age 31, then the goat winning 20 till the age 36 is underachieving. Considering, Fed's body doesn't break down and he is more efficient, plus he is more complete player and more versatile across surfaces.

He is a total failure, shame on him.

Under-achieving is not failing. It just means, he was expected to win even more.

I mean come on, who would predict that Rafa with his injuries and less complete game would win so much?
Fed went from winning 11 majors in 4 years to 0 majors in 4.5 years. That is underachieving age or not.

Nadal is now the older nr.1, wouldn't you back Fed to be nr.1 at an older age than Nadal considering their styles?

But, if Nadal is the oldest #1 then he has not fulfilled his injury potential either.

Discuss.

8-)

I remember when he won in Australia in 2010 he talked about feeling like he could get there. I doubt he figured it'd take him as long to collect those next 4 as it did to get the first 16, but he got it.

He just might, within 3 weeks!

It was nostalgic to go through old threads and see users who used to be on here and are all now apparently banned, gone or decided to close their accounts

@Sentinel what happened to drakulie btw? Is he on here anymore?

Yeah, I feel the same way seeing those old names, some just vanished. e.g., p_agony. Wonder what happened to them.

Honestly, this is a phenomenal achievement. Never thought someone would actually get to 20 Grand Slam titles in men's tennis. I don't think this record is gonna be matched or broken any time soon.

Meanwhile back at his mansion, surrounded my luscious models, Tomic is counting his millions, while poor Federer, Nadal and others are breaking their bodies breaking mere records and rewriting history books.
