Honestly, the best shoe ever!!!
Those are some beautiful shoes!
I thought he won't play DC but the shoes looks very nice.
Very, very cool.
Are the shoes lower to the ground than before or is it the color making it look like they have thin soles?
My goodness! So beautiful!
pretty clean and simple. doesnt have the graphics that the AO vapor had. wish they would sell this, but not gonna happen.
Bowling shoes... Did not like it.
Why not? How many other national teams can claim they have 2 Slam singles champions on the same team?
Because he doesn't care about DC.
where can I buy them?
I thought fed said he won't play DC.
Looks like he changed his mind and try to test new racket more.
Probably you might be able to buy it from his website. Ready over $10000 ^_^
He is playing..per Stan's twitter...
Wow those shoes are sick!
The outsoles look non-retail.
they are lol. His outsoles are similar to the vapor speed outsoles...kinda
I thought DC Shoes as in the skateboarding shoes...
Who could wear that on the court and not look Weird except the GOAT himself. besides it looks like baby shoes.
Is that why Federer has played Davis Cup almost every year for the past 15 years? How many other current players can make that claim?
when the TPU matches the upper, like in this case, it does give the illusion of being lower to the ground, but also, Federer's outsole is a little more angular that stock, that may add to the illusion. but idk
Well, Federer didn't play Davis Cup at all last year and this is going to be the first year since 2005 that Fed will play in the first round of Davis Cup. Plus he's 32 so he's had time.
Anyway, you know it's pretty well known that Fed doesn't play DC all that often and doesn't take it too seriously.
Note how often he sits out. He plays when it's convenient for him. Not otherwise.
Huh? Federer played in the 1st round of Davis Cup just two years ago in 2012 where he lost to Isner on clay. He probably didn't play last year because he was struggling with a bad back all of last year.
I'd say playing Davis Cup in 14 of 16 years qualifies as "pretty often". How often has Nadal missed Davis Cup?
BreakPoint it's good to see you back dude , They will NEVER get your point , just cause Roger had a bad run last year & decided to sit one out people are ready to jump on that straight away , Roger would probably have had 2-more slams & atleast 2/3more masters title if he didn't care about Davis Cup , He is a passionate swiss , once again proven by stans tweet, if You were 33 - had NO titles last year , a 17 times slam winner , wouldn't you concentrate on slams more ? But Roger as always classy he is - he is playing DC, I can clearly see this will hurt his run this year, but He will play, caz he is a classy champion.
Last time he played was against Dutch in 2012. I believe there were quite a few other opportunities since then. Playing DC would have been as straining as playing those "futures" he played last year experimenting with the rackets, etc.
So, your "almost" is exaggerated, as usual...just like your post count to reputation ratio...
The DC shoes are always the nicest out of the collection, but of course they never sell them. Just like the DC shoes last year, so sick.
AHAHAHA epic picture
stans shoes look cool as well
So if you play Davis Cup in 14 out of 16 years, that's not "almost" every year???
If fact, the only two years of his career that he did not play Davis Cup was in 2010 and 2013. He played the last Davis Cup tie of 2012 at the end of 2012. He skipped 2013 due to his bad back.
Only BP would argue about Federer's DC experience in a thread about his shoes.
Yet, it was YOU who first posted that Federer "doesn't care about DC" in this thread about his shoes.
Ok, well then the article I read didn't have the right info, besides 2012 he hasn't played in the first round since 2004 or 2005, if I'm correct. Why bring Nadal up, we're talking about Federer here, plus Nadal's won like what, 4 DCs?
I like both Fed and Nadal, but come on Federer doesn't play it all that much since his younger years in 99-04. Then again most top players don't really play DC all that often anymore with the exception of Djokovic.
First off, Federer is 32 and won 1 title last year at Halle, caz.
I doubt DC will hurt his "run" this year at all. 2 more slams if he didn't care about Davis Cup? Yeah ok
Back to the shoes, these might be the greatest shoes in the history of shoes.
You posted first, but okay. If you think so.
