This is astounding to me. So basically 5/9 past his prime years. Figured he'd done it more at Wimbledon or USO.

Even if Fed crushes Stanimal, he's still the decided underdog against Djoker, who I think will get by Cilic pretty handily. His chances of winning the whole thing are about 10-15% against Nole. The hands of time stop for no man, not even Fed.

Good stat there. Just shows why there should not be much attention payed to earlier rounds, which is exactly the case with Federer at this US Open.

Well, unless of course you actually enjoy watching tennis matches.
I meant we should not jump to some early conclusions. As stats show, Fed was not winning many Slams after such dominant displays before semis. He is a joy to watch, but lets wait and see can he perform the same vs Stan and potentially Novak.
