Basically people who vote for Nadal are classy nice people and those who vote for Djokovic need therapy.
So you are calling people that prefer one player over the other, in this case Djokovic, what? People with mental health problems?

What is wrong with you, I do wonder how are you still here :-D
Trolls like you always come back though, hmmm.

I would think Fed fans would want Rafa to win between the two. Rafa winning RG does not change anything while Djokovic has all the relavant records except the slam count.

Very little? Lmao. First, this is the Djokovic Open now. Completely different tournament. The match will be played very late, which favors with servebot. Djokovic has the organizers on his side. Also, it is beyond me how can anyone claim that Nadal winning any slam at 35 means very little. He is way past his prime now, and if he loses here then he might never win anything again. This is a question of will his career end now or a bit later.
The salt on here recently is laughable

Lol. All that counts is Majors. That said Federer hates djokovic so he will be rooting for Rafa to ensure Djokovic stays third wheel

Not true at all for ATP players. It matters much for TTW keyboard warriors who play at their local 3.0 matches. Being the #1 player in the world seems to be a top goal along with winning majors. Match wins and titles are also important. You can't say only 8 weeks per year matters in tennis. Maybe that is your #1 priority, but you are not an ATP pro player.

Last year I was firmly rooting for Rafa. Especially after #GoranGate. I was thrilled when Rafa manhandled Novak and showed him (and esp Goran) who’s the boss. This year I’m not that emotionally invested. I just hope these guys kill each other for 5+ hours on court. My eyes are on the other semi. I badly hope Tsitsipas (my favorite from the remaining) makes it through Zverev without much fuss. Would be quite awesome if he beats Medvedev, Zverev and Rafa/Novak to win his first slam. Would be quite a statement. I know I’m daydreaming, but we’ll see.

I would not put it past him. He is playing well.

I'm firmly rooting for Rafa again, but still, this is a reasonable take (from a Fed fan perspective). I don't like Tsitsipas at all, but maybe he'd gain some more respect from me if he makes a statement in the final.

So why do so many pros say Nadal is the Greatest?

This thread makes NO SENSE because of the voting. A lot of NOVAK fans have voted for Novak and Nadal fans have voted for Nadal.

OP was CLEAR. Only Fed fans can vote for Nadal or Novak. Otherwise it's option 3.
Yet there are AT LEAST 20 people who are NOT Fed fans but voted for Option 1 and Option 2.

What part of OP's instructions did you guys not understand?

I hope you wake up from the dream.
Even if Titspas gets a WALKOVER in the SF, and Novak/Nadal kill each other for 10 hours - Titspas won't win his first slam final.
He's NOT made of mentally what greats such as Pete, Nadal and Novak are made off.

I don't know I haven't polled any pros, and I don't know the context of their comments. How come so many pros have said Nole is the greatest, or Fed is the greatest or Laver is the greatest? They say things.

lol @ some of the Novak fans (and Nadal fans... but mostly Novak fans) voting anything other than the poll option created just to accommodate you.

Ikr. I like Fed and he'd be my second favourite player but as a Nadal fan, I can't claim to be a Fed fan first and vote for Nadal. If the poll didn't include Nadal, maybe then I can vote as a Fed fan.

I'm rooting for Nadal because Fedster will have less pressure on him if the slam race is over and can just get back to sponsoring Spaghetti like the corporate channel he is :)

Unlikely. My predictions are usually correct. I was wrong last year. Do you really think there is a chance for me to be wrong for a second straight year?
You predict Nadal to lose every match, and since he has a winning record your predictions are very much not usually correct

OK, so 104 people have voted and the results are 27 for Nadal, 27 for Novak Djokovic and 50 for not a Federer fan.

Very conclusive, no?

Oh of course it changes absolutely nothing. :-D

Except the monumental and massive issue of breaking the slam record. Djokovic winning means little since he would still be trailing by 2 slams to pass 20. The "DCGS" is a huge deal to his fans, not so much for others. Same with the Nole slam, great as that was. Breaking the slam record is HUGE.

Tsitsipas overall. Between Djokovic and Nadal neutral tbh, just wanna see a good long match that would waste either one for the F.

I badly hope Zverev (my favorite from the beginning) makes it through Tsitsipas. I've always rooted for Zverev, but am also very curious to see how he'd perform against Rafa or Djokovic in a slam final.

We'll see. All the current champions had a starting point. They all started somewhere to be who they are today. What you say may turn out to be true, but I feel he's maturing fast and can surprise us sooner rather than later.

Djokovic absolutely, I've had to become a fan of him too to prevent the tennis Armageddon
