Federer GOAT even if he will be the 3° of this Era?

Federer is probably the GOAT currently.
But if Nadal and Djokovic win more achievements than the swiss will he be the GOAT anyway?
The media seem to be in agreement, they have already set the table for dinner:rolleyes::censored:, ... but if Rafa and Djoker win 21 slam (and considering that Rog also surpasses in the Masters 1000).....

I was told by reliable, authoritative sources that the 2017 Australian Open final would be for ALL the marbles.

I was led to believe that there would be no excuses, no electoral fraud, no moving of the goalposts. Such games were not to be played any more. Enough had been said on that subject.

Here we are, three years later, and it would appear as though someone has stolen all the marbles and put them for sale on the black market.

Suffice to say, I am very disappointed and feel more than modestly hoodwinked.

The media invent nothing. They read TTW and steal all their stuff from us.

If any journalist mentions the 3 Muggateers, it will be your fault...

Well, Fed gets 90 million in endorsements and Djokovic gets 30 million.

So, you know what the world thinks of their worth.

You being serious with this comment? I’ve always kind of hoped it was true and I wasn’t just chatting away into the abyss.
Have you ever heard of an inventive sports journalist?

I haven't.

Just listen to their questions in press conferences and interviews. A baby seal could pose better questions.

Nice try. Not even a fully grown seal can speak the human language.

For a long time 17 was the bar, interesting that both Djokovic and Nadal have made it there and beyond.

Fed is already third wheel of his era only.
Actually, that position has been held by Novak Djokovic for many years.

For a supposed stats guru, you seem to struggle with the concept that 17 < 19 < 20, and 5 < 6 (YEC titles). Not to mention the wks at No 1 which is something like 275 < 310.

If Novak Djokovic is top in all/most of the above stats when this era is over, he will be GOAT. Not before.

And I have no hesitation in stating that a scenario with Novak Djokovic as GOAT would be terrible for tennis.

Why don't you quote the full post? :-D

Because I was replying to your first sentence?

Your second sentence doesn’t contradict what I wrote in any case. The key point is that Novak Djokovic isn’t GOAT yet, and if he becomes GOAT, it will be a tragedy for tennis.
