Yup, I did and I posted that on a few novak threads that were trending his success. Everybody made a huge deal about this year (69-4) but they failed to take any real notice when fed won 81-4 in 2005, and was 92-5 in 2006. In fact after 2006 nobody even whispered his win percentage that year, but I felt like it was broadcasted everywhere what an anomalical event novak's year was. And in those two years fed did this 3 out of 4 majors won in two consecutive years. Yet we have some people posting some idiot like Pat Cash ALREADY deeming novak as the Greatest of All Time.
One thing I've learned about people on the internet. They have a short memory and just like in high school, they are addicted to trends.
Novak had a great year, what he did was really impressive, especially what he did to nadal, but that was more of a matchup and you can't base that and one good year with the culmination of what federer has done winning 16 gs on every surface and forget about that. Especially now, since he's won over 800 + career wins.
