Sampras was the best player of his era but others had better longevity, nobody had better longevity than Djokovic in his era.

He should educate his fans about great age shift, not having thalassemia, living in europe which means less travelling, more money at his disposal to hire a bigger and better team, better usage of technology available now, weak 90s generation, better racquets, no younger ATG present for 14+ years below and so on, many benefits which Djoker had, he should educate his fans on this. Infact he did say that comparisons across era should not be done but his fans (glory hunters living their dream via him) just don't listen, they want to compare with Sampras via overall numbers without any context taken into consideration.

In Sampras's time and even in Federer's peak years nobody cared much for Masters, to be honest even now Masters are not that important for the fans except the media trying to promote the big title narrative. Do we ever remember a term like "big titles" in 2000s ? These Masters and such things should not be a part of GOAT Race.
