The only player to have take multiple sets off of Federer is:

3 sets: Rafael Nadal

These two threads are about lost sets per match. Nadal wins that hands down :)

Federer only gets to play two grass tourneys a year and one of them is a slam. It is much easier to lose sets in a best of 5 format. Look at how many of those sets Nadal lost that were in best of 5 set matches.

Federer has beaten Nadal on clay. Nadal has never beaten Federer on grass. CASE CLOSED.

I also find Federer's stats better cause grass you have to be really on to win whereases clay you can be a tad off and it won't make as much of a difference. It is a lot harder to break serve on grass than clay due to the pace of the courts.

Oh and if you missed the sarcasm in the first part then I will put a disclaimer now before people try to argue against it.

Lol I was just joking quoting numbers from thread titles, but Fed funboys had to get things strait. Nadal should not be allowed to beat Federer in something like this .

Maybe you should make your jokes funny first. I figured you probably wanted to talk about Nadal since the "jokes" you made typical serious reponses from some raging jackass fanboys that are so prevalent on the boards.
Not saying you're one the jackasses or not funny.
Those just jokes just weren't that funny.
