I am surprised that no one has mentioned this: by winning Dubai, Federer tied Lendl's record for most consecutive years of winning at least one title with 14 years. Of course, this achievement is vastly overshadowed by Nadal's streak of 9 consecutive years of winning at least one Grand Slam, but still impressive from Roger.
