Federer made 23 semis from 2004 Wimbledon to 2010 AO.

And Djokovic's list should have winning 4 majors in a row, effectively holding all 4 major titles at the same time since Laver? That beats out everything else on that list by a long shot.

Djokovic's NCYGS should probably be worth a mention too!

How convenient to just skip Nole's 4 slams in a row! First man to do it since Laver and the only one to do it on 3 surfaces.
That's probably THE achievement.

Not so sure since it came AFTER Federer/Nadal declined. Had he done it 2011-2012, it would have truly been IMMORTAL and best-ever.

I missed another one. Federer's 7-0 start in GS finals. Does anyone know what the previous record was? I can't find it anywhere on Wikipedia.

I think Nadal winning Montreal Cincinatti and US Open combo deserves a mention considering the 2 ATG on hard court couldn't manage it.

Typical Fedalistic crap, to try and discard Nole's achievements, for this or that reason.
I can get that in your opinion 4 in row might not be the greatest, but you left it out if the list of achievements, COMPLETELY. Pathetic Fedal insecurity...

I take it you disregard Laver's Calendar Slam as well seeing as he didn't achieve it by beating prime Fedal either?

Looks like 3 to me achieved by a number of different players (Kuerten, Borg, Connors, Wawrinka). No other player has won his first 4 Slam finals in the Open Era.

I find these two very impressive as well for Nadal:

- 2008- unbeaten in 32 straight matches spanning 3 surfaces including 2 majors. This is the longest across all surfaces in tennis history:eek:

- won all the majors by the time he was 24 years old.

That's absolutely staggering by Federer and it happened 11 years ago at age of 24.

Federer was once an absolute beast when it came to finals time, not just in slams but in the minor tournaments too - remember he once won 24 straight finals.
This fact just makes what Nadal managed to do against Federer so impressive, especially in 2006 against absolute peak Federer.
One article i recently read had this quote which i thought was right on the money - "Federer is the greatest player and Nadal is the greatest player of Federer" - gave me goosebumps.
