Let's be real here for a second.

What you're looking at is a God.

Give him an inch and he'll give you a bagel.

99% of players would give their significant others to play like him for five minutes.
To know what it's like have The Power.
To mix light-footed artistry and ruthless destruction so perfectly.
To feel as Immortals must.

Thanks for sharing!

What do you guys predict for the clay season?
You're welcome. I'm cautiously optimistic. I hope he can at least win Istanbul and one of the masters would be nice.

Madrid is probably his best shot. He said in an interview in IW that he may not play Rome.

I guess that would depend on how well he performs prior.

I don't think he can do any worse than last year. Clay is his best chance to win points.

Starting from Halle he has a lot of points to defend. Hope he can do it!

Yes for Madrid. He said he doesn't know about Rome. Guess it would depend on his results.
Thanks, man.

Don't take my posts seriously, I'm poking fun at ya. Roger is one of my favourite players of all time and 2nd favourite of the active players, so I hope he does well during the clay season :)

You gotta admit, tho, that the first gif is pretty epic, because you can't see Roger's hands and all of a sudden a random water bottle appears and flies through. So random

It is top notch-GOAT-bottle throwing, yes. Deservedly a 9/10 note for that.

He's got quite a few epic racket-smashes on his resumé as well. :p

All in good fun my friend. I knew you were kidding. Yeah, the gif is really funny.

Roger is such a clown.

Yep, he's even the best at bottle throwing.

That incident was funny.

Roger Federer is "the ultimate sportsman", says Greg Rusedski

Rusedski said: "I'm a little bit partial to Roger and I love seeing him playing so well.

"I knew him as a youngster when he was 16 years of age coming through and it's great to see him still having that joy in the game.

"And he's such a great ambassador. Let's not forget he speaks five languages and he takes two hours in every press conference.

"He is the ultimate sportsman. Whether you're a tennis fan or not you've just got to respect what he's done
."

I really liked that Rusedski said that-very nice of him. And I'm sure you liked it too since he was speaking on behalf of you as well. :D

How Roger Federer cracked up the biggest stars in tennis while they all sat on a taxi.

Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and the most awkward photo op ever

Nike gathered its biggest stars in New York on Monday night for some street tennis, an event which apparently involved sitting on a taxi for some reason, but not one of those cool new taxis, but an old one, like the kind Robert De Niro had in Taxi Driver. So what’s going on in this picture, besides the ever-present iciness between Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams? FTW tries to decipher what happened when the picture was snapped.

Roger Federer told a funny about how he tried to take a taxi to Kings one time, figuring that if the U.S. Open was in Queens, there must be a Kings and he probably had a condo rented in his name there because he’s had so many great victories in his career. Maria Sharapova found it especially funny, despite the fact that she was unaware why she was sitting on a car that wasn’t a Porsche.

I won't copy it all here, but keep reading about the other players, it's quite funny:

Was just going to bump this, but you wonderful folk have done it for me!
@Roger federer tennis, thanks for the pictures, and by the looks of things, thank you for joining us.

US Open predictions?

Thank you!
I found this thread and was happy.
Of course I want Roger to win the championship.
However, Djokovic and Murray have a chance equally, too

I wish for the finals of Roger and Djokovic.

Would you prefer he lost to Djokovic/Murray or to a lesser player?
The further the better. Opponent irrlevant, At the end of day the trophy is what matters. I suppose losing to Nole in a final means you come out with more credit, ie it was only one of the greats that prevent older winning more slams. But that is all small buns and irrelevant really. I think every slam final adds to his legacy but SF or worse makes no impact.

Yourself?

ROGER Federer has agreed to headline the Brisbane International’s field for the third straight year.

The Swiss champion’s Queensland Tennis Centre title in January was the first of five so far in 2015, in which he had also been runner-up at Wimbledon, and his results have encouraged him to plan the same season launch next year.

Lets hope it provides a better platform for Aus Open than 2015 :D:eek:

Seriously, why is Roger suddenly going unshaven? I know when he signed with Gillette, there was a stipulation that he had to be clean-shaven for all his practices and matches. Is his contract with them over? There's some backstory to the unshaven look lately, does anyone know it? I think he looks great this way, he should not shave more often!

I was just wondering if we have a Federer news thread on this forum while there are Nadal new and Djokovic news threads.

This outfit for USO 2015 looks so white that it even looks a little bit out of place. Looks more like Wimbledon outfit to me. It also reminds me of Wimbledon 2013 shoes where he had the orange sole that was ordered to be removed by the organisers. I guess this is the day time outfit and the blue ones must be for the night matches. Federer once said he would like to wear predominantly white outfit through whole year and maybe he got his wish this time!

The kid next to him is using a Prestige Classic!
