Oh cmon! I have been waiting for months to have nice wide shoes. And now they do this?
Can't anything release normally these days...

I would've been interested if it wasn't an exclusive. I wanna buy a shoe because it performs well, not because it's an exclusive piece.

The exclusive piece thing is more of a basketball-watcher, not basketball-player type crowd thing.

Does the same crowd exist for tennis?

LOL, when the On shoe IPO drops in late September, it will make many investors multi millionaires and make Fed a billionaire many times over. These shoes may look "plain," but it's the biggest IPO to drop in years.

I doubt it will do well, it barely anyone has heard of On. I bought a pair of cloud flyers just to check them out and honestly the upper is nice but they are nothing special. I see someone wearing a pair maybe once every few months in a major US city

1. On is making a move to expand in the US market and is starting to show up everywhere.
2. Actually, Kith and Federer go pretty far back. Sneaker shopping on complex, launching Nike Vapor atmos and also the Jordan 3 collabs and Kith.
3. Marketing element to it to get people exposed to the brand.

Agree, ON is not targetting the avarage consumers just yet. Else, they would've released it way back when Roger first use this shoe in Qatar. Would sell out quick for sure.

I guess maybe Kith is better prepared for this type of launches. On’s website wasn’t ready for the launch of the Limited Release Center Court. There will be hype around the shoe and scalpers with bots will definitely push for this.

Wow. I did not know you have to pay tax…
$200 might be a little expensive because tennis shoes wear out quickly…
Slower sales than I thought.

Full disclosure. I'm not really interested in wearing them immediately if at all. This is my one splurge for the year and I may put them back out on the aftermarket. I'm just curious to examine them firsthand. $200 is a lot for a shoe that I'm going to outright abuse so it's not really in my mindset to play in them at the moment.

These could be the old stock which was supposed to launch with Fed's initial return at Dubai tournament but didn't, due to his early round exit?

$200 is actually fantastic for these. Considering these are the model with all the tech Fed is actually wearing. Once that’s removed and they begin to mass market actual tennis shoes (non Fed signature) they could possibly only cost $120-$140.

I just ordered a pair -- 9 1/2. They will be winging their way to me next week! I am pumped. If they uphold the reputation On shoes have elsewhere for comfort and cushioning, it'll be worth every penny!!!!!!!!
