Federer ON Tennis Shoes Launching

ordered as well. £197 total. Very expensive. But i guess it has the carbon fibre plate. And is quite desirable. PLus in the market for a new shoe so wth

That is absurd. Their shoes aren't bad but not superior quality to any of the many other major brands (Nike, Adidas etc.)
Ive had a very bad experience with both nikes and adidas shoes so those are out of the equation for me. And i have been wearing asics ff2s for a year now, and 2 days ago fractured my ankle in them so a little scared. Plus they were giving me foot pain as well. So i just thought why not. If i can play pain free then lets try it. Theres nothing else in the market atm that i like

Disagree based my experience with their running shoes. After having worn Nike running shoes for years, not as a runner but as a casual shoe, I picked up a pair of On cloud, or whatever they're called, and find they're much more comfortable than any Nike products I've worn recently.

I agree with you. More expensive than I would have liked by my experience with On shoes to date, which is one pair, is that they're superior to Nike.

TOTAL FOR YOUR ORDER
€ 222.13
o_O NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
I guess I'll wait to have the confirmation those shoes are wide

edit: Just went up to € 263.10 lol

LOL, when the On shoe IPO drops in late September, it will make many investors multi millionaires and make Fed a billionaire many times over. These shoes may look "plain," but it's the biggest IPO to drop in years.

If you’re an accredited investor you can still buy Ón shares on the secondary private market if you think it’s going to be that big. I think shares are still going for ~$35 on most exchanges.

Already out of stock in EU. When I logged 5' past 10am CET i could see only sizes 7,7.5,10,10.5. Don't know if they had other sizes earlier on...
Yep. I logged 10:03 and there were all sizes but 8, 8.5. Im 8.5-9 in Nike and put 9 in cart. But i got errors on paying step . After few attemps size 9 deleted with "out of stock".

But i got my 9 on US Kith. Im in Russia and it was cheaper, than EU Kith pricing:cool:

I got them in a 12, not sure if I'll wear them immediately or see what the secondary market looks like, but I like their running shoes quite a bit so I hope I'll like these.

I’m really having second doubts about the size. I bought a 7.5 but thinking maybe I should get an 8. With the FF2s I wear 7s, but 7.5s are what actually fit me in that shoe I think as i have wide feet. And so im wondering do i size up half a size or a full size with these.

What is the company valued at assuming the $35/share? Any idea if they're profitable?

The quality is nice! I really like the cushioning and support from the shoe. I wear a 9.5 and the shoe felt like it runs a tad bit larger. Carbon Fiber shank quality is better than expected! The only concern I have is the material used on the toe area. Although it has a toe cap if you tend to drag your feet I think the cloth material won’t last too long.

Do you have narrow normal or wider feet if you don’t mind me asking?

How’s it feel when it comes to weight? Any plans to play in them soon?

That’s awesome! How’s the toebox/forefoot - wide, narrow, or normal?

Can see these selling big with the 40+ demographics

They have that old school tennis shoe look that is not well served by current offerings. And plenty of social cachet with the RF/luxury brand associations.

Expect them to be a much bigger hit than the lifestyle shoe crossover they did

The toebox felt more spacious than my usual shoes but I also feel it may be the mesh type material.
I am still debating on whether I should hold onto these or play in them...

Anyone know how to get some of Fed's Uniqlo socks? Or any Uniqlo socks with their logo on them? I went to their online store and none of the socks have their logo... (Gotta complete the look. LOL)

They come up around the slams. They are also the first thing to sell out (same day, usually).

I am super amped now. I can't wait to get them. I play 90% on clay and don't drag my toe so these should be awesome.

Unfortunately, $200 is a lot to pay for a non-durability shoe. I don't think this shoe is 200-dollars worth of superior to every other performance shoe out there on the market. If I keep them, they'll probably become a lifestyle shoe for me.

Don't you want to wait for a clay version before ruining this beauty?

Not a bad thought, but no....I was just happy to get a pair with any sole. We'll see how they do. I had planned on my next pair of Diadora's being the hard court sole simply because of the grief I get when I come home and leave a trail of clay. No matter how much I rinse the soles, the clay court shoes still have dirt in them. :)

Im in the same position. But im thinking i might as well use it on clay as well. This colourway isnt the best to be fair

I'll let you know how they track on clay. TBH, when I do play on hard courts with the Diadora clay sole, they stick a little too well since there's no pivot in the sole.
