Does anybody have the stats for the Federer-Djokovic match yesterday or know where I can get them??
Fed, 47 unforced errors, 22 winners. Gulbis would have had a better winners/unforced errors ratio.
No wonder he smashed his racquet. That is ridiculous. I missed the whole match because I was at coaching from 3:30-8:00 so I missed it. Federer is my favourite player of all time, but at around 3:30 I said to some of the lads that Federer wasn't going to win. I just had this gut feeling for some reason that he was gonna lose, I dont know why. They were saying, ah no way, and they dont like him, they're Nadal fans but I just knew it somehow. And when I came home I was disappointed to see my gut feeling had come true.
Why Federer lost his nerve against Djokovic
This is why he went bananas...unforced errors compilation in video below (and its not even all of the unforced errors!!!),
That forehand at like 2:17!!!What the hell?! I don't think I've ever seen him hit so many bad unforced errors in my life. I would have made that forehand!! Probably would have been passed obviously but I would've made it no problem!!
I'd probably destroy my racquet too if I played so uncharacteristically bad.
I wouldn``t. Not enough anger in the world to make me destroy my $200 racquet.
You wouldn't care about a 200$ racquet if you had 45 million $ or so
They both had 4 aces and 4 doubles and 26 winners and 30 unforced for Djokovic.
