I was going through that article trying to find out how many rounds Feddy has to get through to get back his rightful ;) #1 position.

Anyone know ?
He needs to get to the final to take the Number one position back.Assuming Federer wins the final he will have 150 points lead over Nadal. But Nadal can regain the Number one position if he reaches QFs at Queens.

Most probably Fed won't be no.1 after Wimby even if he wins all 2750 points because Nad looks set to gain more points at Wimby and Queens. With such meagre field he will have a better grass season this time around.

Yes the grass field is not in good condition right now.We dont know whether Murray will play,Djokovic is not in his usual form - these 2 players won Wimbledon from 2013 to 2016.I want to see how Dimitrov does there. If Federer somehow loses at Wimbledon (please no) my second favorite will be Dimi.

If Rog is not going to win Wimbledon(God forbid) then I want Novak to win it with him being my 2nd fav and all. If not Novak then MuryGoat

Fed should take # 1 at Stuttgart.

I'd like to see Rafa go deep at Queen's, not so much to get # 1 back, but to effectively defend his 180 Wimbledon points in advance. He can then try and defend his 270 Cinci and Canada points in advance at Wimby which should set him up in a good position for YE # 1. There have been whispers of him not playing Queen's though.

Now you are talking like Rafa ! :D

So you don't want #1 but you want YE #1. :D

I’m 99% sure Fed was just being kinda self centered here and talking about his own Tennis ... BUT there’s a 1% chance Fed has ascended to a level of trolling we haven’t seen before. I’m rooting for the latter. Let’s get more of this Fed!
Sadly my thread creation skills need a lot of improvement and inspiration from the other greats at TW.

For example, in hindsight I could have titled this thread "Federer: French Open was boring".
We'd be on 31 pages by now, and not the measly 31 poasts ! :(

If Nadal gets that 180 points from Queen’s, he will be #1 again automatically. Because Federer will lead by only 150 points even if wins Stuttgart. Then he cannot gain anything with a Halle win where he is the defending champion. So 150+ points for Nadal in Queen’s will bring him to the top in any case (that would be a SF).

No one dare find sewretch boring.

Well, boring in another sense of the word yes, but not the synonym of ennui.
I think he is kind of boar-ing, I mean he appears in the form of a boar. Just like Varaha.

BOAR= वाराह (pr. {varah} )(Noun)उदाहरण : In Hinduism, Varaha (Sanskrit: वाराह) is the third avatar of Vishnu, in the form of a boar. He appeared in order to defeat Hiranyaksha, a demon who had taken the Earth (prthivi) and carried it to the bottom of what is described as the cosmic ocean in the story. The battle between Lord Varaha and Hiranyaksha is believed to have lasted for a thousand years, which the former finally won. Varaha carried the Earth out of the ocean between his tusks and restored it to its place in the universe. Vishnu married Prithvi (Bhudevi) in this avatar. Varaha is depicted in art as either purely animal or as being anthropomorphic, having a boars head on a mans body. In the latter form he has four arms, two of which hold the wheel and conch-shell while the other two hold a mace, sword or lotus or make a gesture (or "mudra") of blessing. The Earth is held between the boars tusks. The avatar symbolizes the resurrection of the Earth from a pralaya (deluge) and the establishment of a new kalpa (cosmic cycle). The Varaha Purana is a Purana in which the form of narration is a recitation by Varaha.
